Flashback: MMQ's TNN Show

Marla's Niece Melba Dead of Suicide

Marla's niece Melba is fatally committed suicide on May 28, five days after her 49th birthday. She is survived by her two brothers Todd and Tracy. Her mother Lori died two months ago. 

Fourteenth Episode of Marla's Game: Rams, Ravens, Patriots and Buccaneers

Marla was showing a picture of her two oldest grandsons Lincoln and Ethan. D'Marco Farr told Marla about the advice from coach Dick Vermeil. Marla got up, and went to Ray Lewis, and he reads the whole list. Lawyer Milloy became a stilt man and falls down, and Marla said, "Lawyer, how many times do I have to you not to perform stilts at the same time." Warren Sapp went on to rap this thing, but Marla said, "No, no rap, Warren." All of the sudden, a doll named Chucky came at the door, Marla went over and take off the doll's face, and it was Jon Gruden. A knock on the door for Marla, it was mailman Charlie Weis, who subs for Ernie, who got sick. Marla opened the letter, it was from her brother Chuck. Rodney Harrison said after Marla reads a letter, "A big brother, did you read that stupid letter?" Adam Vinatieri came by chatted with Rodney, as John Lynch became a funny man, Marla said, "Come on Lynchie, let's get out of here." Tedy Brusc

Update on Maverine's Friend Allison

Maverine's friend Allison Yim confirms that she has decided to have her own show soon, and found ten football legends and a baseball star Tony Oliva, but the 11th football player Ron Yary didn't have any website yet. The names were Dave Osborn, who joins this week, Stu Voigt, Paul Krause, Ted Brown, Chuck Foreman, Greg Coleman, Tommy Kramer, Ed White, Carl Eller and Sammy White.

Marla and Kyle Went to North Wilkesboro

Marla and Kyle went to North Wilkesboro on Friday after having a meeting with Don Reid of the Statler Brothers in Virginia. She hasn't seen Don in 21 years. The race hasn't run since 27 years. The All-Star race finally has a winner, Kyle Larson. Marla reunited Ross Chastain and Ty Gibbs.

Thirteenth Episode of Marla's Game: Denver Broncos

Marla likes to hang out with John Elway, Neil Smith, Howard Griffith, Terrell Davis, Shannon Sharpe and Mark Schlereth. All of the sudden, a hitch hiker named Randy Waller (played by Reid Brooks, Marla's daughter-in-law's brother), who wears a Bill Romanowski jersey. Two kids came along and Randy was asking a little questions, one girl said, "Hey, you ain't my daddy." It turned out to be Bill Romanowski's kids, Dalton and Alexandra. Mark shows a picture of him playing with the Redskins way back, and Marla looks stunning. The next morning, Randy came to Shannon and he's got a RC cola with Craig Morton on it. Randy spits at Shannon's face, Shannon uses a tape recorder for what he said about Romo. Shannon said, "That means no spitting at my face again." Randy also uses Randy Gradishar orange crush and Marla snatches the drink and stomp it into pieces, and she told him to leave. Later that afternoon, Shannon had a brief phone call by his brother

Marla and Kyle Attends at Darlington

Marla and Kyle were headed to Darlington for a race and visit legendary drivers like 95-year-old Hershel McGriff, Jeff Burton, Terry Labonte, Dale Jarrett and Rusty Wallace. Ricky Rudd was headed to a friend's funeral in Virginia and cannot attend the race so does Harry Gant, and Dale's dad Ned. Marla said she is finished all twelve episodes. William Byron was the winner of the race, and next week is North Wilkesboro all star race. Haven't race since 27 years ago.

Twelfth Episode of Marla's Game: New York Giants

Ottis Anderson, whom fans called him O.J., said there was a spider, and Marla said, "No, Ottis, there ain't no spider in this bar." Other guys were Jeff Hostetler, Phil Simms, Lawrence Taylor and Carl Banks. All of the sudden, Dark Knight came at the bar, the guys were in shocked. But Dark Knight isn't Dark Knight anymore, it was Bill Parcells. Bill was coaching for the Dallas Cowboys. Bill said, "Don't touch me" as Marla got the piece of paper in his pants. His real name is actually Duane Parcells. His high school friend calls him Bill, but that's negative, but he uses a stage name or something. Marla said she has a brother named Duane. The next morning, Marla was counting cards and Bill came at the door with no knight. He told Ottis a lie about it, and Marla came seconds later. Bill and Marla were arguing about Ottis. Maverine's Reaction: Two Statler Brothers Specials

Marla's best friend Maverine talks about the two Statler Brothers special. First in 1981 just before Lew DeWitt decided to leave because of Crohn's disease, their first special was aired. Their six special guests were Roy Rogers, Conway Twitty, Brenda Lee, Barbara Mandrell, Janie Fricke and Chet Atkins. First the Statlers went to the old elementary school, turns into an office. The office is closed after they retired and turned into a Christian school. Roy did a little singing going on. After they sang "The Movies" written by Lew, their movie "Tennessee Beat" features "Flowers on the Wall." Conway sings "Fifteen Years Ago" from 1970. Brenda sings was wonderful tune, but the sign said "Class of '57" is the name of the song in which Harold Reid graduates. Full Movie: Hard Scheme Lady

This 1983 film was really wild for Patty Michael. It was released on December 2. Three wide receivers Lou Boone (John Jefferson), Thom Conley (Doug Donley), Teryl Smith (Wesley Walker), and two tight ends Stuart Jackson (Doug Cosbie) and Hank MacBride (Ozzie Newsome) were walking around into the old school. The song is "Something New" by Patty's real life sister Maverine. Lurleen Maine (Patty Michael) saw the five men laying down, she grabs the water hose to aim one way to another. Lurleen meets the rest of the players. Her cousin Larry (Jay Hilgenberg) is the other and was the center. Lurleen is the newest head coach for the North Dakota Commanders, the fictional NFL team. She was the first female head coach. Five offensive linemen Larry, Don Walsh (John Ayers), Blaine Craddock (R.C. Marla Visits Last Big Brother On Birthday

Yesterday, Marla and Kyle visit Marla's last big brother Harold and his wife Cleta at their home in Dallas on Harold's 66th birthday. It was two days after COVID 19 is over. Harold gave Marla a framed photo of Ray Pillow, who died on Mar. 26, and Marla gave Harold a VHS of Hard Scheme Lady by Patty Michael.

Eleventh Episode of Marla's Game: Chicago Bears

Mike Ditka, Mike Singletary and Jim McMahon were there sitting at the table as Marla cleans everything. Marla told Ditka about it and he said, "I was fulfilling a lifetime ambition, thinking that I was pleased to know you." Marla was watching the tape of 1983 death of George Halas. Ditka said that Walter Payton's son Jarrett and a five-year-old girl neighbor went to Ditka's house, they saw an ambulance and the girl knocks the door and they said, "Trick or treat." Ditka was looking at the ambulance after they said it, it was identified as Halas according to the paramedic. Singletary, McMahon, Ditka and Marla were playing poker while Clint Black sings "Walking Away" on the jukebox and they talk about the real blitz. Later that night, in the back of the bar outside, Ditka said, "Well, I said I got a good memory" when they feel the fire with a small logs and the garbage can. Matt Walter and his wife Rhian has a seventh child and second son, Sonny James Walter, who was born today. He was born at 1:41 am Oregon time. Sonny joined by sisters Harper, Agnes, Effie and Caedance, and brother Jackson.

Tenth Episode of Marla's Game: Washington Redskins

Marla and Joe Theismann were slow dancing into a song called "You Lie" by Reba McEntire. The rest of the players, Russ Grimm, Rick Walker, Jeff Bostic, Doug Williams, Darrell Green, Charles Mann and Mark Rypien were crowded around the room as the song was over. Mark had the extra flying fly and Joe said, "Shoo Fly Don't Bother Me," and the guys laughed. Russ gives Marla a real lesson and she told him to go to bed. Marla showed Darrell a picture of Marla's husband Marty and goddaughter Ashley, who is Doug's daughter. When Ashley was 2 months old when her mother died. Marla gave it to Doug after that. The next morning, Marla decided to pick up coach Joe Gibbs from NASCAR racing, Doug said, "You can't change your mind." She said, "Yes, I changed my mind, whenever comes first, Doug, now sit down." After picking up Joe G. at the airport, Mark has a Jimmie Johnson poster, you might say Jimmie is from NASCAR. Joe said and points at Mark,
