Tenth Episode of Marla's Game: Washington Redskins
Marla and Joe Theismann were slow dancing into a song called "You Lie" by Reba McEntire. The rest of the players, Russ Grimm, Rick Walker, Jeff Bostic, Doug Williams, Darrell Green, Charles Mann and Mark Rypien were crowded around the room as the song was over.
Mark had the extra flying fly and Joe said, "Shoo Fly Don't Bother Me," and the guys laughed. Russ gives Marla a real lesson and she told him to go to bed.
Marla showed Darrell a picture of Marla's husband Marty and goddaughter Ashley, who is Doug's daughter. When Ashley was 2 months old when her mother died. Marla gave it to Doug after that. The next morning, Marla decided to pick up coach Joe Gibbs from NASCAR racing, Doug said, "You can't change your mind." She said, "Yes, I changed my mind, whenever comes first, Doug, now sit down."After picking up Joe G. at the airport, Mark has a Jimmie Johnson poster, you might say Jimmie is from NASCAR. Joe said and points at Mark, "You, what are you doing with that poster?" Mark said, "I was just using a Jimmie Johnson poster, and I don't like Dale Jarrett's framed photo." Joe said, "That's because you, I mean you have mess this thing up." Mark said continually, "I did mess that up at this point in time." Joe said, "Now you take Jimmie Johnson down there, he's doing it the right way." Marla said, "You mean, put that thing away." Mark never said a word, but dumps a poster of Jimmie Johnson into a trash. Mark tries to erupt Joe, and Joe said, "Now listen to me, Mark, I'm not gonna mess you up, you gotta do what you think, but I'm telling you, this is what I think." Mark never said a word again, and leaves. Many hours later, Marla told Russ and Jeff about the biggest schedule. Marla uses the tape in 1987 when Justine Thielemann, R.C.'s wife, and Lynn Bostic, Jeff's wife were arguing Marla's fan from Delaware by the name of Dean Rollison. After showing the tape, Charles had a picture of son Cameron and his sisters Camille and Casey. Marla was so thrilled that she loved it. Marla told the guys about the food, like burgers and pizzas, and Mark was singing "O Canada," and the 7 players and the coach said, "Mark, stop that singing."
