Marla Confirms Second Disbandment for MMQ

On Sept. 28, Marla confirms its second disbandment for MMQ. Keith Jordan, Kyle McBride, Ethan Cole and Micah Lewis will not contacted Marla again because she needs to have her solo tour next year. The first disbandment was in January 1993.

Season 2, Episode 13: Ross Does it Again

Marla and Kyle were in Nashville while her son Faron was with the Birmingham Stallions team. Marla went on to visit Jeff Burton and Elton Sawyer. That night, Ross Chastain won the race and got a guitar, and Marla announces her son's birthday while the Stallions beats the New Orleans Breakers 47-22. Faron was with Thaddeus Moss, Randy's son and he asked him about his advice to win a championship.

Season 2, Episode 12: Pack it All Up

Marla was in Texas for heading back to the summer and winter house in Lakeville. Larry Boone, whom she haven't contact in years, called her on the phone saying that his dad Donald passed away at age 94. His wife and Larry's mom Marie died 13 years earlier. Meanwhile, after headed from Texas to Minnesota, Maverine Michael visit her and her husband Kyle. Later on they met Allison Yim, the sports reporter in Dakota County. They hanged out with Tommy Kramer, Dave Osborn, Stu Voigt and Paul Krause.

Happy Birthday Christen

Happy 43rd birthday to Christen Lindner Walter, Kyle Jr.'s wife. Christen will be a grandma of Gatlin Jennings Walter to be due on Jan. 13.

Flashback: Marla Hangs Out with Vern and Conway

In 1991, Marla became a substitute singer for George Jones as George had his solo tour, she hangs out with Vern Gosdin and Conway Twitty. Marla came first, then Vern and then Conway. Marla sang duets with Vern called "Yesterday's Gone" on her album, and she also sang with Conway in "Every Time I Think Its Over," from two albums for both of them. Marla had her surprise guests Jeff and Ward Burton, and Jeff's then girlfriend Kim Browne sang background vocals for Marla. Marla's niece Leslie also sang backgrounds for Conway. Jeff, Ward and Marla sang two songs, "All the Gold in California," and "Better Than I Did Then."

Marla's Former Nephew Jailed

Marla's former nephew Jacob, Roger's only child, is jailed for misdemeanor and assault. He assaulted Rusty Wallace's brother Mike back in May before the St. Louis race that was won by Kyle Busch. Jacob is sentenced to nine years and one month in prison. His only child Benedict, or Benny, is fostered by his cousin and Marla's son Faron. Benny will be sixteen on Oct. 16, same birthday as Jocelyn.

Season 2, Episode 11: Marla in St. Louis

On May 28, Marla's niece Melba had fatally committed suicide five days after her 49th birthday, and attends her memorial on June 1. Melba's brothers Todd and Tracy were sad about their mother Lori, who died two months before Melba's death. On June 4, in St. Louis, Marla and Kyle visit Rusty and Kenny Wallace, but the third brother Mike is absent. Rusty uses a pie to hit Marla in the face, and it was her birthday. Kyle Busch won the race.

Flashback: Patty and Friend at Charlotte

In October 1985, Maverine's sister Patty Michael and her good friend Anna Kellen of Madison, Minnesota were at Charlotte Motor Speedway for a race, one guy, Elton Sawyer decided to compete, but failed. The movie "Shanna's Last Race," or "Hell on Loose," was in theaters that weekend. After 230 something lap, Phil Parsons and Ron Bouchard crashes, Phil grabs a knife to kill Anna, Patty rushes over to get Terry Labonte and Rusty Wallace, and asked them about Anna. Phil's brother Benny told Phil to put the knife down, and it did. Cale Yarborough had his 83rd and last win. Phil never reveals the truth until March 1990 after the Rockingham race. He was on two races suspension, not jailed. Anna was there at the court house testifies about Phil, but Patty isn't headed to another place while in Minnesota.

Happy Birthday Charlie Waters

Happy 75th birthday to Charlie Waters. He is Marla's one of her ex-boyfriends. He married Rosie and had three sons. The oldest died in 1995. The youngest was born on Cliff Harris' birthday in 1985.

Happy Birthday Freddy Weller

Happy 80th birthday to Freddy Weller. Sources say that he was born in 1947, but the official birth year was 1943. He was one of Marla's ex-boyfriends. She crushed him when she was 9 years old in 1967. He dated Marla numerous times. She last saw him was in 1989. He lost his own son at age 25 in 2004.

Season 2; Episode 10: North Wilkesboro is Back

Marla and Kyle went to Virginia to meet Don Reid of the Statler Brothers. Marla hasn't seen him in 21 years. Adra, Don's granddaughter, saw Marla for the first time, and her sister Sela came by. Marla told Don about his brother Harold, who died three years ago. Don has written 11 books at the same time. After that, from Virginia to North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, Marla and Kyle were having fun with 24 drivers, including Bubba Wallace. Kyle Larson is the winner. Haven't running this race since 27 years ago.

Happy Birthday Natalee

Happy 39th birthday to Natalee Reeves Boone, Marla's daughter. She will be a mother of Everly Boone in December.

Happy Birthday Hal

Happy 9th birthday to Hal Walter. Hal is the big brother of Maverick Walter, and lost his sister Mara after she was overdosed.

Season 2, Episode 9: COVID is Over

On May 7, 2023, Marla and Kyle had a visit with Marla's brother Harold and his wife Cleta, she gave him a VHS of "Hard Scheme Lady," and he gave her a Ray Pillow photo. So COVID 19 is over in America, and they went to Witten's grave in Dallas. A week later at Darlington, Marla had a chat with Terry Labonte, Rusty Wallace, Dale Jarrett and Jeff Burton. William Byron won the race.

Lincoln and Ashley Adopted Girl

Lincoln and Ashley welcomed their 2-year-old girl via adoption, Cambria Emmylou Reeves. She was born on May 29, 2021 in Russellville, Kentucky, and has cerebral palsy. 7 months later, she was placed into foster care after the tornado hit. Two years later on Aug. 31, Lincoln and Ashley went from Montana to Kentucky to adopt a girl, and was finalized the adoption.

Maverine and Duane at Minnesota Football Game

On Aug. 31, Marla's friend Maverine and her boyfriend Duane went to the Minnesota college football game against Nebraska. Mike Tingelhoff, Mick's son, his wife Diane and son Patrick II were there, but it found out that Duane and Mike had celebrated their birthdays on Aug. 31. Marla wasn't there because her friend Gil Brandt passed away. Minnesota beats Nebraska 13-10.
