Flashback: The Stonemans' Special

In 1981, Lori, Marla's sister-in-law hosted a special called "The Stonemans: the First Family of Country Music." It's also the name of the album. 10 of 13 Stoneman children appeared in this album and the show, Scotty died in 1973, and John and Joe were absent. The children were Eddie, Grace, Patsy, Jack, Dean, Gene, Donna, Jimmy, Roni and Van. Roni's two daughters, Grace's daughter and Van's two sons were the second generation stars.

Happy Birthday Mosiah

Happy 2nd birthday to Mosiah Walter. He is a big brother of Maverick and lost his oldest sister Mara of overdose.

Flashback: Lari Garrison on Nashville Now

In July 1990, Lari Garrison was with the rest of the quarterbacks on Nashville Now. 9-year-old Eli Manning steals the show as did Ken Stabler's two youngest daughters. Ralph Emery announces that Bob Griese is in the hall of fame. Days earlier, Tanya Tucker was with the other quarterbacks as Paige Unitas steals the show as did Tanya's daughter Presley, and T. Graham Brown's son Acme.

1990 Episode 8: August

Waylon Jennings was in the top ten called "Wrong," and the girls thought they uses steel drums in this song. A new hot shot song called "Too Cold at Home" by Mark Chesnutt was good, and Lew DeWitt, the original Statler brother, has died so does Carl Ekern, the linebacker of the Rams. Reba McEntire has a new song "You Lie," while Joe Diffie has a new song called "Home." Stevie Ray Vaughan was killed of a plane crash, and the girls' cousin Randy likes him very much.

Roni and Golden Passes Away

On Feb. 22, Roni Stoneman passed away at age 85, and her sister Donna, 90 is now the last survivor of the Stoneman family. Roni was the gap toothed banjo player from the TV show "Hee Haw" from 1973 to 1991. The next day, Marla loses a good friend Golden Richards of heart failure at age 73. Golden was the Super Bowl champion for the Dallas Cowboys. He was the father of two boys and a grandson.

Country's Claim to Fame

Twelve contestants who helped out with the spinoff series "Claim to Fame" that goes country. The contestants were Waylon Chesnutt, Logan Byrd, Henson Medders, Elijah Golden, Darby Pillow, Tarian Tritt, Lily Pearl Black, Lilly McBride, Carrie Crowell, Dani Jackson, Grace Kelley and Kylie Diffie. The spinoff series will be in June.

Flashback: Patty and Maverine Show

In 1977, Patty and Maverine had their own show with ten episodes, and cancels that same year. The episodes went like this. 1. Jay Osmond, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs and Larry Gatlin 2. Flashback: Marla Meets the Sullivans

In 1999, Marla interviews all sixteen Sullivan children in North Carolina from the TV talk show "Marla Talks." All of them grew up as adults, no infant or child deaths. The seven girls were Cretta, Rosa, Dorothy, Virginia, Blanche, Geraldine and Marverine, and the nine boys were Leland, Woodrow, Wilmar, Joseph, Irving, C.D., Billy, Tom and Gene. 12 died as of 2020, only four, Marverine, Blanche, Tom and Gene survives. Cretta, the oldest died in January 2000, but all of them reach the 2000s, 14 days before her passing.

1990 Episode 7: July

As Randy Travis peeks at #2 with a song "He Walked on Water." This song is about the great-grandfather's lives. The girls concerns about Randy's song. Meanwhile, the girls saw the Statler Brothers on tour and heard the version of "Til a Tear Becomes a Rose" by Keith Whitley and his wife Lorrie Morgan. Meanwhile, the girls saw Maverine Michael on TV singing a country gospel song "Ride Out Your Storm" with Paul Krause and Wally Hilgenberg. Her sister Patty was also on TV as well.

Mama DeBarge Passes Away

Etterlene "Mama" DeBarge has passed away around this morning at age 88. She is the mother of 10 children, eight boys and two girls. Eight of these were singers, and the youngest two, who were twins, were not. She lost her two sons from 1995 to 2021. In 1985, during "Rhythm of the Night" on the radio, Marla was interviewed and said that the DeBarge siblings were biracial. Marla also likes the Sylvers and the Osmonds, but not the Jacksons. Katherine Jackson is the only one to be alive at age 93.

Maverine as Executive Producer in New Documentary

Maverine, Marla's best friend and her partner Misty McMichael will be as co-executive producers in the new documentary called "Mongo's in the Hall." The taping will be finished in August of this year, and will released in early 2025. Maverine said in an interview yesterday, "If Steve speaks by computer, he'll take more time with it. When he dies, let Misty speak." Interviews by his family, teammates and friends, Mr. McMichael still has ALS, and his health is deteriorated.

Happy Birthday Jody

Happy 34th birthday to Jody Walter. He lost his oldest daughter Mara of overdose, and welcomes a son Maverick a month before.

Happy Birthday Landry

Happy 6th birthday to Landry Boone. She is the big sister of Everly Boone.

Happy Birthday Cheyenne

Happy 44th birthday to Cheyenne Walter Whitley. She is the mother of six children, and a grandma of 2.

1990 Episode 6: June

As Doug Stone became more successful in "I'd Be Better Off," the girls saw the music video of MMQ's "As Long As I'm With You Tonight." Marla Medders and Bill Romanowski played as parents of a baby boy played by twins Logan and Grant Fahnhorst, the nephews of Keith Fahnhorst. They also saw Shelly Walther's music video "Somebody Up There Likes Me," with Paul Newman had a cameo role. Meanwhile, the girls realizes that Greg wrote "Dancy's Dream," and plays mandolin in this song. Larry Stewart is singing lead at the time. Now the girls attend the basketball game for the Detroit Pistons and the Portland Trail Blazers as the Pistons won the NBA finals championship.

Maverine, the Spokesperson of ALS; McMichael in the Hall of Fame

Maverine Michael, Marla's best friend, is a spokeswoman of the ALS commercial, and other events, and her good friend Steve McMichael is now in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. His wife Misty was there, but 16-year-old daughter Macy is headed to school, and Maverine is taking care of her and Steve. Duane, Maverine's boyfriend is at home taking care by his surviving daughter Janet and her girlfriend Katy Sunde, whose dad Milt passed away in 2020.

Happy Birthday Caedance

Happy 2nd birthday to Caedance Walter. She is the big sister of Sonny James Walter.

Faron and Lorrie Adopted Girl From China

Faron and Lorrie had their 15th child when they adopted a few weeks old girl from China, who was born on Jan. 18. Her name is Laramie Laraine Reeves. She is the 6th adoptee. They had six adopted and nine biological children.

Norie and Boyfriend Welcomes Son

Kyle Jr.'s daughter Norie and her boyfriend Camden Willer are the parents of their first child, a son named Elton Sawyer Willer. Sawyer weight 9 pounds and no ounce. He was born Feb. 6 at 3:33 am. Kyle Jr. is also a grandpa for the second time in two months.

1990 Episode 5: May

The girls got their deals going, but Clint too make it higher. As Sammy Davis Jr. and Jim Henson were dead, Clint finally got himself a #1 hit. Lynn got herself a boyfriend named Lonnie Jackson, a 25 year old mullet from Monroe County, Alabama. He likes country music, and fell in love as the song "Tomorrow's World" was played. Rodney Crowell has made it to #6 in "If Looks Could Kill." His music video features Tony Brown on piano. Waylon Jennings has a new song called "Wrong," but the girls liked it.

Waylon Bio Movie In Theaters In May

The Waylon Jennings Story will be released in theaters on May 24, the day before Jessi Colter's birthday. Natalee played Jessi herself, and Jeremy Wubben played Waylon. On "Meet the Walters Show," Natalee gave Jessi a present, and Jessi's new husband Arlin was so happy to see her.
