Marla Meets Harrison Nitschke

Marla had a chat this morning to recent graduate from homeschool, Harrison Nitschke. He's a newest country star from Valdosta, Georgia. His real name is Harrison Swilley Nitschke, and his birthday was Feb. 21, 2004. His mother is related to Dennis Swilley, and his father is related to Ray Nitschke. He has two half siblings all stillborn from his father's first marriage, and he has a full younger sister Gracie. Harrison's single is called "Waiting in Line" is already released.

Marla's Turning Down

In 1986, Marla decided to do a recording of "You Never Looked That Good When You Were Mine" with George Jones, but her throat was sore and left. It was replaced by Patti Page. In 1994, Marla was supposed to play A.J. Ferguson, the female version of A.J. Foyt in the Little Rascals movie, but she did not like the name and the script, and was replaced by Reba McEntire.

Marty in Beverly Hillbillies Deleted Scene

Marty's birthday in heaven was today. In 1993, Marty played Singletary in the Beverly Hillbillies movie starring Jim Varney. Singletary said about Zsa Zsa Gabor's slapping, but it was her character husband who is rightly convicted and she was released. Zsa Zsa kisses Singletary after she was released. Lily Tomlin and Dabney Coleman were played Hathaway and Drysdale, respectively.

Happy Birthday Jocelyn

Happy 14th birthday to Jocelyn Reeves. Jocelyn has decided to go back to her music with her siblings.

Happy Birthday Trey

Happy 16th birthday to Kyle Garrett Walter III, or Trey. His twin brother Lee Duane, or L.D. was killed with his twin cousins in Bismarck on May 15.

Patty's Miscarried Children

Maverine's sister Patty had two miscarriages from 1976-1978. She named the kids after she was released from the psych ward, Tella Lynn and Ryan Grant. Lynn and Ryan's stone was placed with no dates at Patty's old house. Patty said in 1981, "Tella was named after Ron's sister, and Grant after Bud Grant."

Faron in Fire Down Below Deleted Scene

Faron and his cousin Dwight Medders played Derick and Ian Krause, whose uncle Larry, played by Meat Loaf tries to bribe Jack Taggert (Steven Seagal). Preacher Bob Goodall (Levon Helm) told the boys about Larry's habits, and Lloyd (Ed Bruce) has arrested Larry, while the boys are in custody. The song was "To Be With You" by Larry Boone.

Happy 3rd birthday to Canaan Walter, the big brother of Mosiah.

Marla's Untold Conway Twitty Story

On Sept. 30, the airing of Conway Twitty from Maverine Michael's Tales From the Tour Bus talks about Marla's untold story about him. It was her birthday June 4, 1993, Conway called Marla while he's in Missouri and she was in Dallas. Marla said, "This is the last time Conway had called someone, that someone is me." The next day while she was working for real estate with Larry Cole, Conway died.
