Full Movie: Hard Scheme Lady

This 1983 film was really wild for Patty Michael. It was released on December 2.

Three wide receivers Lou Boone (John Jefferson), Thom Conley (Doug Donley), Teryl Smith (Wesley Walker), and two tight ends Stuart Jackson (Doug Cosbie) and Hank MacBride (Ozzie Newsome) were walking around into the old school. The song is "Something New" by Patty's real life sister Maverine. Lurleen Maine (Patty Michael) saw the five men laying down, she grabs the water hose to aim one way to another.

Lurleen meets the rest of the players. Her cousin Larry (Jay Hilgenberg) is the other and was the center. Lurleen is the newest head coach for the North Dakota Commanders, the fictional NFL team. She was the first female head coach.

Five offensive linemen Larry, Don Walsh (John Ayers), Blaine Craddock (R.C. Thielemann), Walt Gatlin (Jackie Slater) and Mick Emery (Pat Donovan) were playing basketball, Walt missed the grab and slang the police windshield which was driven by Steve Johnson (Maury Pribyl). Steve was the police officer. Lurleen was jogging as Steve met her. Lurleen said she is from Calumet, Quebec, same as Ronnie Prophet.

At the gas station, the song was "Loving Her Was Easier" by the Glaser Brothers was heard. Larry and his girlfriend Brenda Mullaney talks about having fun and a new coach. Before the draft started, Chet Herndon (Curtis Rouse) arrives and sign a contract.

Lurleen and Steve met again before getting drafted. Pete Rozelle had a cameo of picking Randy Weller (Matt Worley), the quarterback from Alabama college. 11 more pick after that. Months later, all 12 rookies started since 1975. The song "Guilty" by the Statler Brothers was played as all of the players were practiced. Teryl ran out of the line, tries to catch it, but fell into a dog poop. Teryl's left eye didn't see anything. His twin brother Deryl did.

The Commanders played the first game, but lost. The song "Foolin'" by Johnny Rodriguez was heard on the jukebox, Steve had took a break from his police duty, Lurleen asked him about his guidance. Five O-Lineman were at the race track hearing Gene Watson's "You're Out Doing What I'm Here Doing Without."

Lurleen adds with the new line of scrimmage for all of these players. Their second game was played, but it was Lurleen's first win. Larry and Brenda were engaged to get married. The song was "Til I Gain Control Again" by Crystal Gayle. Lurleen was the video editor way back and sees the clips of Freddy Fender, the Gatlin Brothers and the Statler Brothers all in Hee Haw. After 12 more wins and 2 more losses, one division and NFC championship, Lurleen's team is rocking, the song was "Hippy Hippy Shake."

Before the Super Bowl against Austin Rangers, Larry and Brenda were married. Lurleen was very proud of her cousin. During the Super Bowl, the Commanders and the Rangers are neck and neck, and Darrin Upchurch (Ted Potvin) had kick the field goal, and it scored. They beat the Rangers and make Lurleen proud. It was remade as the Big Green in 1995 about a British teacher moved to Texas to teach pre teen or teen kids to play soccer. Olivia d'Abo as Anna, and Steve Guttenberg as the sheriff named Tom.
