Flashback: The Faron Mania Begins 1993

On Oct. 30, 1993, in Ocala, Florida, Marla and Faron were performed at a concert with hundreds of people cheering, and it's a sold out crowd. Joe Bessey, Robert Pressley and Steve Grissom attends the show, and Tracy Leslie became a surprise guest for Marla in a song called "I'm the Only Thing" after Marla said about the death of several loved ones, including Conway Twitty and her cousin Don Calhoun. Marla was crying after the song was over. After Marla introduces her son Faron, he performs five songs before single women run on stage to Faron, and the show was promptly cancelled for him. One woman Kathy Lynn Scales from Indiana was arrested for running around, and others are escorted out.

Flashback: Marla's Depression

In 1995, after shooting a few episodes in the third season of the Marla Comedy Show, Marla had a depression. Marla was very sad about her mother's cancer, and her private relationship with Tracy Leslie. After the first Dover race and during the taping episode of "Hermie Loves Ronna," Marla was nearly having a coma because of her depression and Tracy sang a love song for her. After the last taping episode is over, Marla still has her depression until September when Robert Pressley had his clean shaven looks. On Oct. 20, Marla was in Texas with the Psychiatrist after Tracy was released from the Parker team, she reveals Tracy's middle name Allan, and Marla's middle name is Lynn. In 1997, Marla returned to her depression until cancelled the show in 1998. After cancellation, Marla and her husband Marty attended Delbert Jacks' funeral with Tracy and his wife Patricia. Flashback: Celebrity Race in Homestead

On Oct. 28, 1995, the celebrity race was held in Homestead, Florida as Marla's nephews Cliffie, Noel, Billy Ray, Jeremy and Jason were with ten Busch drivers. Cliffie was driving for #72 Detroit Gasket for Ron Parker as interim driver Todd Bodine was in Phoenix. Tracy Leslie was already released from the team and Todd won at Rockingham. Mike Dillon was hired for next year. Noel was driving for Buz McCall as Ward Burton was also in Phoenix after he had a Rockingham win. Jeremy was driving for Terry Labonte's #14 car, helping out with Bob Labonte. Billy Ray was in #20 for Dick Moroso and Dennis Setzer was added the next week. And Jason was in the Mike Wallace car as Mike was still in Phoenix. Ten drivers were Chad Little, Larry Pearson, Jeff Fuller, Mike McLaughlin, Jason Keller, Tim Fedewa, Phil Parsons, Rodney Combs, Curtis Markham and Patty Moise were on the list. Lincoln and Ashley Welcomes Seventh Child; Jocelyn Suffers Miscarriage

Lincoln and his wife Ashley welcomed their seventh child and a third girl, Misty Lynn Reeves, who was born at 3:10 AM today. Misty is joined by Greyson, Mick, Cambria, Savannah, Donovan and Rhoden. Jocelyn is suffered a miscarriage with Chet Holmgren, her boyfriend, just before her 17th birthday. The movie "Mongo's in the Hall" is out today about the life and retrospective of Steve McMichael.

One Year Ago: Tracy's Mom's Obituary

Kathryn Ann Leslie, age 90, of Purdin, Missouri passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at her home in Moberly, Missouri. Memorial services will be held Friday, October 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Tom Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Haseville Cemetery in Haseville, Missouri. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
