Flashback: Delbert Dies

On Aug. 16, 1998, Jeff Gordon won the race in Michigan, and he did not say about Delbert Jacks, who passed away that night of cancer at age 53. Delbert is Marty's sister Lemmie's husband. On Aug. 21, after Kevin LePage won the race, Shelly Walther interviewed Tracy Leslie about meeting with Delbert. The next day, as Mark Martin won the race, Shelly interviewed Rusty Wallace about the death of Delbert. Lemmie died ten years later on Sept. 12, 2008. Lemmie and Delbert had no children since they got married in 1965.

Shane Wins For the Fifth Time

At Watkins Glen for the fifth time and fourth this year, Shane van Gisbergen won the race. After the race, Lorrie claims that her mother-in-law Marla won't stop cheering for Shane, she'll be better off in the pine box. A few days ago, Marla's nephew Randy visited her and her husband Kyle in Lakeville, Minnesota. He showed her a picture of Randy, his wife Jennifer and Tracy Leslie dated on Micah's birthday on June 26.

Flashback: Margaret's Cancer

On May 2, 1993, Marla's mother Margaret went to the emergency room for exhaustion, but doctors confirmed that she has lung cancer. Fifteen days later, after running in Sonoma, Rusty Wallace took Dale Jarrett, Terry Labonte, Ricky Rudd and his wife Linda by plane to visit Margaret in Iowa. Marla's all six brothers were there to support them. Harold tries to fight with Dale, but Marla orders them to stop because of Margaret's cancer. Five days later, Marla's cousin Don Calhoun died of lung cancer.

Flashback: Rowdy For Faron and the Guys

On Feb. 26, 1993, Faron was with Joe Bessey talking to Davey Allison as the Burton brothers, Jeff and Ward played Mountain's "Mississippi Queen" on the jukebox. As Joe failed in Richmond the next week, Faron was sitting outside next to Michael Ritch, who was 20 years old. The brothers play the same song, and Mike Wallace starts to fight with the boys. Tracy Leslie got Ward, and Tom Peck got Jeff, they were escorted out. On May 8, before the start in Martinsville, Faron and Joe were talking with Todd Bodine and his now ex-wife Lynn, and Roger Sawyer puts a quarter on the jukebox and played "Mannish Boy" by Muddy Waters. Roger is Elton's younger brother. Tracy and Tom were one table next to them. Roger only has a start here and Ward won the race. On Nov. 6, in Hickory, North Carolina, as Joe failed one more time, Faron sings Paranoid by Black Sabbath before one guy Johnny Rumley said after the song was over, "That ain't no Hank Williams song." Flashback: Medders Cousins Performs Sans "LG&M"

In 1998 in Nashville, Faron, Micah, Randy, Justin and Dwight performed several songs in Nashville except "Lawyers Guns and Money." Billy Crider of Ohatchee, Alabama took several photos for the concert. Six drivers in Billy's pictures were Patty Moise, Elton Sawyer, Robert Pressley, Tracy Leslie, Joe Bessey and Elliott Sadler. Sheena Eller was the scene stealer in several pictures as did Faron's mom Marla. After the concert was over, Faron had exhaustion, and watched the newest episode for the Marla Comedy Show.

Flashback: Rowdy or No Rowdy For Marla 1997

In 1997 at Rockingham, Marla, her son Faron and nephews Micah, Randy, Justin and Dwight were having fun with Robert Pressley before the race. Marla was wearing the Velma t-shirt. Velma is from Scooby-Doo. Off camera after Robert had a crash, she was there wearing the same shirt before she was massaging Robert's back. Jeff Gordon won the race. Two months later in Texas, Marla brought her sister-in-law Lemmie and her husband Delbert at the race track from Jermyn where they were living. Tracy Leslie was wearing a black cowboy hat after the race was over, and Elton Sawyer brought Lemmie and Delbert for the interview. Delbert doesn't talk as Lemmie said about it. Seven guys except Jeff Burton, who won the next day, were partying around at Marla's house.

Jody and Wife Expecting 10th Child

Jody and his wife Darlia are expecting their 10th child and fifth daughter to be named Juniper Louise to be due on Jan. 10. They lost their daughter Mara of drug overdose and they had eight more that were surviving.

Fifth Episode of Marla's Game: Dallas Cowboys

Marla likes to party down with Bob Lilly, Roger Staubach, Duane Thomas, Charlie Waters, Drew Pearson, Thomas Henderson, Tony Dorsett, Troy Aikman, Ken Norton Jr., Michael Irvin, Emmitt Smith, Bill Bates, Daryl Johnston, Larry Brown and Darren Woodson. Jimmy Johnson played as a news broadcaster, and Rich Dalrymple played as a mailman. Rich send a letter to Marla, it confirms that Rayfield Wright is doing great after his hall of fame speech. Charlie said about the puzzle and Tony had gasped at Marla, and she said, "You got to be kidding me." Thomas said, "He was a Prima Donna," Marla later added and said, "No, I was a Prima Donna." Drew said, "We had to bring him down a notch." Marla said, "Charlie said it's too dangerous to knock these things out." Jeannie Seely Dies

On Maverine Michael's 67th birthday, the world mourns the loss of Jeannie Seely, who passed away of intestinal infection at age 85. She scored a big hit "Don't Touch Me" in 1967, and she sang with Marla at the Grand Ole Opry in 1992 after Marla was headed from Talladega to Nashville with Clifford Allison. Jeannie also appeared in Honeysuckle Rose with ex-husband Hank Cochran.

Cleta's 1993 Book

In 1993, Cleta, Marla's sister-in-law wrote a book about the Busch racing stars after Joe Nemechek's championship. 16 drivers in 15 chapters were on the spot, but the 16th driver Clifford Allison was in this book. Joe is married to Andrea at the time of this book. Cleta claims that Joe is twenty days younger than Mark Chesnutt, but he must've looked like him. Joe and Mark were pictured with Shelly Walther. Bobby Labonte is pictured with his dad Bob and brother Terry. Todd Bodine is pictured with his brothers Geoff and Brett. Jeff Gordon was interviewed by Shelly Walther in the unknown channel. Shelly is four months younger than Jeff. Cleta was taking a picture of Jeff and Richard Petty shaking hands before Richard's final start. In 1992, before the start of the Goody's 300, Marla's sister-in-law Cleta Medders interviewed 25 drivers. Bobby Labonte's past times was to spend time with his nephew and niece Justin and Kristy, and remote control cars. Kenny Wallace, Todd Bodine and Steve Grissom played golf. Robert Pressley's favorite sports star was Brad Daugherty. When he had his first win in 1989, Brad carried Cleta while in victory lane after she interviewed Robert. Chuck Bown's biggest supporter was his father-in-law Hershel McGriff, whose daughter Debbie married Chuck. Jimmy Hensley's past times was playing basketball where he dunks with his closest buddies. Tommy Houston's past times was to spend time with his three sons. His niece Teresa is married to Dale Earnhardt.  Jeff Gordon's favorite sport was racquetball.
