Flashback: Lonnie's Funeral 1980

Here's the brief obituary: Lonnie is survived by his wife Margaret, six sons Jim (Lori) of Dallas, Chuck (Ingrid) of Seattle, Johnny (Cissie), Duane (Carleen), Arlie (Patsy) all of Ames, Iowa, and Harold (Cleta) of Dallas, a daughter Marla (Russ Francis) of Hawaii, and 26 grandchildren with one on the way.

The funeral was held on Feb. 24. Some players were attending were on the list like this:

Roger and Marianne Staubach and their five children, Jennifer, Michelle, Stephanie, Jeff and Amy.

Charlie and Rosie Waters and their son Cody.

Larry and Linda Cole and their children Michael and Christina.

Some Cowboys players did not bring wives or girlfriends were Ralph Neely, Bob Lilly, Lee Roy Jordan, D.D. Lewis, Danny White, Randy White, Pat Donovan, John Fitzgerald, Bob Breunig, Tom Rafferty, Cliff Harris and Jim Cooper.

Other players in another teams were attending a funeral were:

Keith, Susan and baby Tiffany Fahnhorst, Randy and Patrice Cross, Doug Buffone, Wade Key, Mick Tingelhoff and Russ Francis, who listed as Marla's boyfriend in Lonnie's obituary.

Second Episode of the Michael Sisters Story: Maverine's Singing Career

1974: Maverine sees Paul's new hair, and Wally came by to see him and Maverine. Maverine watches TV about her best friend Marla Medders and her date Freddy Weller. Eual and Ester came over to chat with Marla, Blaine and Larry, and found a letter of the Chain Gang Hoedown. Kim told the guys that Freddy Jackson is a bank robber, steals memorabilia, abducting his girlfriend and others. At the antique store, the chair was sold to Freddy, and went to the storage room, but failed to make an arrest, in fact, Freddy drop a letter from his new girlfriend Twyla Henley.
