Meet the Walters

In 1984, before the birth of Natalee, Marla met Lari Garrison as she was dating Russ Francis. Lari turned 18 exactly two weeks after having Natalee. Lari appeared in the Maverine Christmas show. Lari broke up with Russ after he went to New England after waivers in December 1987. Lari also had an affair with former racer Dick Brooks until their split before his last marriage to Teresa Lowrence. Lari is now married to the welder named Steve Frizzell since 1995, and they had no children.

In September 1982, the taping of the short "War on Strike" was on it, and lasted in November. Robbi Wolverton is the replacement for Marla with a different title, "The Robbi Short." It all started when the strike in the NFL was on it. Robbi was with all of the teams to break the bad news. Robbi told Monty Hunter that he is not the oldest rookie, it was Jeff Rohrer, who had a push up 20 times. Brian Baldinger was with George Peoples doing the push ups. The picket sign for some of the Cowboys players had used it, and Doug Cosbie just had the "funfair" stuff, and Robbi told him to redo it with "unfair." Robbi was with Monty, Doug Donley and George for berating a strike, and five offensive linemen had their faces similar to Our Gang kids, Jerry, Sherwood, Dorothy, Wheezer and Stymie. It was Pat Donovan, who had his ears shut, Tom Rafferty, who had shut his mouth, Jim Cooper, who had shaken his head, Steve Wright and Herbert Scott. Some of the Cowboys...

In 1985, Lynn and Gwynn Pomeroy had their first music video called "Follow the Night" which features Marla Medders and Ronnie Thomas reuniting once more in this music video, and Lynn picks Danny Bess, and Gwynn picks Jeff Olinger, who played guitar in Ophelia Wright's band. This was their first solo music video, however in 1984, the twins and Ronnie sang Willie Nelson's "Night Life" in the music video, and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Paul Whiteman had a clip from "My Pal Paul."

Three people, including 26-year-old Cody Corn were arrested for burglary, felony and larceny at Dave Marcis' house. A woman was arrested on Sept. 3, Corn on Sept. 6, and the other man two days later. Most of his memorabilia was recovered. Corn was also arrested for attempted murder of Cyndy Medlin, now 77. Leslie Brooks reveals that Corn stabbed Cyndy's right arm, and she ran into Robert Pressley to see what was going on. Now Cyndy finally interviews this morning about the stabbing incident.

In February 2000, Tom Landry's funeral was held, and he died on Feb. 12, two days after Jim Varney passed away. Marla, her husband Marty, and two children Faron and Natalee were attending the funeral. After the funeral, Marla's brother Harold took Faron and Natalee to Daytona Beach as Faron was working with Joe Bessey. After that, John and Sue Fitzgerald had dinner with Marla and Marty.

After November 1978, Marla Medders recorded four songs with her boyfriend and racer Ronnie Thomas. The first were "Oh How I Miss You," and the last three were, "Take Me In Your Arms and Hold Me," "Yours Love," and "Love Got in the Way." All of them were lost in 1979, however two of the songs in which they did not recorded were found in 1993 for her album "The Mercury Years," and it has Larry Gatlin written song "I Just Can't Get Him Out of My Mind," and a duet with Mel Street called "When Somebody Holds Me Tight." After 47 years, all four songs were found by Gabe Akers, who was Ronnie's friend Roger Akers' grandson in July of this year.

On her 21st birthday in 1979, after the College Station race, Marla was engaged to Ronnie Thomas, and the paparazzis are everywhere before heading to Riverside with Ronnie. That same month after that, Marla cancelled several shows because of her illness, and Joe Frazier, the boxer replaced Marla on Hee Haw. Marla claims that she aborted the baby before the engagement, and she broke up with Ronnie two months after the engagement. They went on to apologize a few months later after her dad's death in 1980.

Cyndy, Marla's cousin will be 77 on Friday, is doing just fine after stabbing her right arm last week at her home. The unknown convict is now arrested for attempted murder for Cyndy, felony and break-in at Dave Marcis' house. Shawn Beam, Dave's daughter said about Cyndy's injuries and the robbery, and Shirlene Dalton and Tabitha Ducker also said about the house and even Cyndy.

Melinda McWilliams (Lynn Pomeroy) had drove home from her mother (Melinda Dillon)'s house. Her husband Wayne (Ronnie Thomas) was already home with two children Lane and Lynn (Faron and Natalee Reeves). Melinda told Wayne that her brother Travis Barlow (Darrell Oglesby) will compete in a rodeo competition, and Wayne's friend Rodney (Danny Bess) was Travis' supporter. Travis won the contest, and Wayne reads a children's story to Lane and Lynn. As his son Lane went to bed, Wayne, Melinda and Lynn were in bed about Travis' personal lives. The next morning, Wayne and Rodney were talking about Melinda, Travis and the kids. Travis was with Melinda for the slight conversation about his rodeo career. Melinda told Travis about their dad's passing a year prior was the swiftest thing. Wayne was singing a Johnny Bond song "I Wonder Where You Are Tonight" to his daughter Lynn as Lane was drawing a picture of him and his dad. As Melinda was home, Lane shows a picture...

In May 1982, Gwynn Pomeroy had a drug overdose, and was rushed to the hospital for a coma. After three months of hospital stay, Gwynn is awake, and went to the psych ward for 10 days at the same hospital. In September, Gwynn and her twin sister Lynn were on the radio telling Ophelia Wright about Gwynn's health, and Ronnie Thomas has a sponsor that said, "Get Well Gwynn."

In 1986, Lynn Pomeroy played as Melinda in a movie called "Failure to Dream" with Ronnie Thomas as her husband Wayne, and Marla's kids Faron and Natalee played their kids Lane and Lynn. One song in this movie was "Letter to Home" by Glen Campbell. Both Ronnie and Lynn had no children in real life, the same as her twin sister Gwynn.

In 1984, Robbi Wolverton replaced Marla with a new short called "Cowboys Working Hard 4." This is the last "Working Hard" short for now. Bob Breunig was on the radio show singing a song while Robbi and Doug Cosbie were in her room. Tony Dorsett saw the huge stacks of the wood box. John Dutton's wife Ginny was the ballet dancer as Robbi, Doug and Tony saw her. John also looks over to see them. That night, Tony Hill told Robbi that his relationship with Jalie McClenton is over. Ed "Too Tall" Jones was singing the R&B song while Drew Pearson and Bob were still on the radio. Rafael Septien told Robbi that he has a third Mexican movie, and Robbi told Ron Springs to get busy. Dennis Thurman was using a typewriter to write about the gossip, and Everson Walls was with Robbi the next day to check the banking account. Danny White was still playing a piano while Randy White was with the horse. Robbi was singing "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys." ...

Earlier this week, Dave Marcis' home in Arden has been robbed by the unknown convict, and at another house, the same convict stab Cyndy Medlin's arm. Cyndy is Marla's cousin. Cyndy will be 77 on Sept. 11. Robert Pressley said via satellite with Allison Yim today that Cyndy's injuries had been sustained while he had breakfast with Dave. Cyndy's been living in Asheville since 1971 where Dean Dalton was living.
