Flashback: Jim Hangs Out With Dean Dalton

It was June 25, 1972, Marla and all of her brothers attended the race in College Station, Texas with their parents. Marla had a motivational speech about her dad's hometown of Anniston, Alabama. Two of the drivers, Dean Dalton and Charlie Roberts had said about the place. Dean was raised in Anniston after leaving Asheville. After the meeting, Marla's brother Jim had a conversation with Dean as did Marla. Marla reveals to Dean that her dad dated Dean's mom before she married his dad. Lonnie was headed to North Carolina after his graduation the next year before he met Marla's mom Margaret.

Dean returns to Asheville to visit his dad. Back to the story, Lonnie told Dean about dating his mom way back. Dean asked Jim to become an honorary pit crew member, and Dean finished 9th in the standings. Dean also finished 9th in the race.

Jim and Dean became friends until Dean's last race in 1977 at Rockingham. Dean is now 80 years old and still going strong. Dean often visits Marla and Jim's cousin Cyndy, and Dean last saw Marla was at the mall in 1995 while signing autographs with Tracy Leslie for preparing her third season of her TV show.

Episode 12 of the Zero Club 1975: The Crooked Blue Line

Blaine decided to arrest the Hobo man named Willie, and Blaine, Marla and Larry did. But Willie had drink the poisonous thing. Marla told the story of her brother Phil (Phil Villapiano) who was the ex-cop way back. Phil chases the man, who turns out was a mayor name Tompkins, but the car crashes into the pipe organ, but the chief fired Phil, and never wanted to be a cop again. After Marla, Blaine and Larry take Willie to jail, they tried to arrest Sheena, Liane and Kim, but it was a joke. They told them about Jimmy Bobbitt, the suspect who barely kidnaps the DJ named Captain Midnight AKA Roger Schutt. At the bakery, Jimmy smashes the car into the wall and disappeared. Marla asked Abram Crowe (Willie Brown) about Bobbitt, although the Crouch brothers (Gene Upshaw and Art Shell) were upset as did the white bartender Eddie (Ray Guy). Marla's Nephew Stuart and Ethan in George & Tammy

Marla's nephew Stuart played Charlie McCoy, the harmonica player, and Ethan Cole played Ron Gaddis in this very last scene of "George & Tammy" which was due Jan. 8. Joseph and Samuel Sanders played Ryan and Kyle, the twin sons of Georgette. Peanutt Montgomery was in the last episode as a busker, and his wife Charlene plays a woman in car in the third episode.
