Flashback: Jennifer in Relationship With Driver 1999

In June 1999, when Faron's then girlfriend Lorrie first met Tracy Leslie, who was in the Jack Bowsher ARCA car, Jennifer Smith, Lorrie's friend from Ranburne, Alabama, saw some of the ARCA stars in Michigan. Jennifer and Lorrie ran into Cavin Councilor from Flint, Michigan, same as Paul Krause and Craig Morton, the sponsor said "Mothers Against Drunk Drivers," Lorrie said, "It's like the first line of Hank Williams Jr.'s "I'm for Love" lyrics." Jennifer dated Cavin, and Lorrie was still with Tracy talking about the Marla Talks TV show from last year. David Keith from Kentucky won the race.

Tracy's brother Lee was the crew chief for Cavin, and Jimmy Langston works with Mark Gibson. Jennifer remembers Tracy in 1989 where he had a sweep in Talladega. The first was in May where she attended, and had a picture taken by her mom, and Jennifer wasn't there in the last race. In 2002, Jimmy was killed with his sister Pam of the car accident, and a month later, Cavin was killed in the plane crash with two others. Jennifer was devastated by Cavin's death.

Flashback: Marla and the Statlers' Movies Clips

In 1978, during her "Sinners and Saints" special. Marla had four movie clips in which the Statler Brothers had their favorites. First, in "It's a Wonderful Life," Harold Reid played George, Marla played Mary and Marla's niece Leslie played Zuzu. Lew DeWitt as Clarence, Phil Balsley as Billy, and Don Reid as Henry. In "Giant," Phil played Bick, Marla played Leslie, Harold as Jett, Don as Bawley, and Lew as a friend. In "The Music Man" Don played Harold Hill, Harold as Marcellus, Marla as Marian, and Phil and Lew as church goers. And "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," Marla played nurse Ratched, Lew as Cheswick, Phil as Taber, Don as Harding and Harold as Bancini. Marla's big brother Harold Medders played Randall McMurphy. Flashback: Lori's Show

In 1977, after her son Billy Ray's birth, Marla's sister-in-law Lori taped and aired her own comedy show called "The Lori Medders Show," and lasted two seasons. The first season: 1. Merle Kilgore as her ex-boyfriend and Billy Walker as a friend. 2. Chet Atkins as a musician at the club, and Jeannie Seely as herself. 3. Jeannie C. Riley as herself and Bobby Bare as himself. 4.
