Flashback: Jennifer in Relationship With Driver 1999

In June 1999, when Faron's then girlfriend Lorrie first met Tracy Leslie, who was in the Jack Bowsher ARCA car, Jennifer Smith, Lorrie's friend from Ranburne, Alabama, saw some of the ARCA stars in Michigan. Jennifer and Lorrie ran into Cavin Councilor from Flint, Michigan, same as Paul Krause and Craig Morton, the sponsor said "Mothers Against Drunk Drivers," Lorrie said, "It's like the first line of Hank Williams Jr.'s "I'm for Love" lyrics." Jennifer dated Cavin, and Lorrie was still with Tracy talking about the Marla Talks TV show from last year. David Keith from Kentucky won the race. Tracy's brother Lee was the crew chief for Cavin, and Jimmy Langston works with Mark Gibson. Jennifer remembers Tracy in 1989 where he had a sweep in Talladega. Flashback: Micah and Angela Weds

On Aug. 9, 1997, Micah Medders is now married to Angela Heaton in Asheville, North Carolina. Reid Jones was the ring bearer and Cheyenne Langston was the flower girl. Little Thunder was there at the time. Micah's aunt Marla and Tracy Leslie sing "'Til a Tear Becomes a Rose" during the wedding party. This was from the off race week before Michigan. In addition to Thunder, Micah and Angela had one more child, a daughter Xandrie (real named Alexandria Victoria). Micah and Angela were married for 27 years until he died in January 2025.

Flashback: Little Thunder Arrives

On June 28, 1997, Micah and his cousins Faron, Randy, Dwight and Justin were in Watkins Glen for the autograph signing, but Steve Bird, the crew chief for Randy LaJoie, told Micah that his girlfriend, now wife Angela is preparing to have a baby. That night, they welcomed a son Tracy Eugene Medders. The nickname of the boy is Thunder. The first name is in honor of Tracy Leslie, whose real name is Tracy Allan Leslie. Tracy reveals Thunder's birth after he finished 13th.

Flashback: Celebrity Race 1998

On Oct. 2, 1998, another celebrity race was held two days after Adam Petty won the race in Charlotte for ARCA. Rusty Wallace won the pole for the draw. 10 Busch and 10 Winston cup drivers, 2 ladies and two Medders cousins are competing for the race. Adam Medders was driving for Wally Dallenbach Jr. in his #50 Budweiser car, and Jeremy Medders in a #97 Chad Little car. Lynn Marie Peterson in a #90 Dick Trickle car, and Tabitha Welch in the #33 Ken Schrader car. Randy LaJoie had an accident in the first caution, and Robert Pressley's right shoulder is sore, and Tracy Leslie, who was not in the Winston and Busch rides, gets in relief. Marla Medders interviewed Robert after Tracy gets in. Before that, she interviewed Tracy. This is the last time Tracy was interviewed clean shaven before he had a goatee. The Rare Two Albums For the Marla Comedy Show Will Released On Dec. 5

Cheyenne Langston reveals before Shane van Gisbergen won the race in Charlotte that this will be having two rare albums for the Marla Comedy Show, a gospel album, and a Christmas album. John Wesley Ryles Passes

John Wesley Ryles, the session background vocalist passed away two days ago exactly a month before his 75th birthday. He was married to Conway Twitty's daughter Joni. His hits were "Kay" and "Once in a Lifetime Thing." One of his last hits, "Louisiana Rain" was covered by 15-year-old Denny Streeter in 1988, and John Wesley sang with Alan Jackson several times, and Faron Reeves in a song called "Yes Yes Nanette" with several NASCAR drivers as choir members.

Marla to Have a Commercial For Kidney People

Marla will have the commercial for kidney people in December including Lee Roy Jordan, D.D. Lewis, Harold Reid of the Statler Brothers and Keith Fahnhorst. Marla talks about the story of Phenix City, Alabama's Mike Frost, who had kidney disease and died almost 25 years later in 2019. Nick Mangold was also on the list.

Marla's Fan Moments: Kyle From Alabama

In 1989, Marla was in Talladega meeting with 15-year-old Kyle Wimbish from Andalusia, Alabama. He was the huge Tracy Leslie fan, even Davey Allison and Marla herself. Marla was wearing the Keith Whitley shirt at the time as Tracy had a final Talladega win that July. The first was two months prior. Kyle did it again in 1990 with his family at Daytona Beach. In 1993, Kyle saw Marla and Tracy on TV on their comedy show until 1998, and Kyle was blessed to be part of it, but made it briefly in the "Trade in Or Trade Out" episode where he buys Dick Brooks' big Chameleon Sunglasses die cast. Kyle was in Daytona Beach in 1994 taking photos of Tracy, and there was almost 2-year-old Cheyenne Langston, who was in Tracy's race car, Kyle said she was a scene stealer. Kyle was the video camera man for little Cheyenne's scene stealing moments when Tracy and Marla were around. Merle and Jessy Welcomes Twin Sons

Natalee's stepson Merle and his wife Jessy welcomed their second and third sons, the twins, Tuffton Glaser and Gosdin Lane. They were born at 5:00 am today as the Daylight Savings Time was on it. The brothers were joined by big brother Abner Randon.

Cheyenne Langston Releases New Single For TV Dad

Yesterday, Cheyenne Langston had a new single where she wrote a song for Tracy Leslie called "I Love Him Like a Daddy." The music video was aired that same day exactly a week after Tracy's 68th birthday. Tracy first heard the song, and it was terrific. Cheyenne was in the TV show "The Marla Comedy Show" for four seasons with her TV parents Marla Medders and Tracy. Cheyenne said, "This wonderful song about my TV dad was the sweetest thing I ever heard. Tracy called me this morning as he saw the music video, and it tears me up to see him cry."

Flashback: Marla in Denny Streeter's Music Video 1991

In January 1991, Denny Streeter had a music video of the Ricky Skaggs cover "He Was On to Something." That song is from Quadruplets in Love soundtrack and was written by Sonny Curtis, who died in September of this year. Marla Medders, Maverine Michael, Lynn and Gwynn Pomeroy had a cameo appearance. Maverine was wearing the Wally Hilgenberg jersey, and Rodney Combs also had a cameo dancing with Marla. Rodney also appeared in a Tracy Lawrence music video "If the Good Die Young."
