Lincoln and Ashley Welcomes Seventh Child; Jocelyn Suffers Miscarriage

Lincoln and his wife Ashley welcomed their seventh child and a third girl, Misty Lynn Reeves, who was born at 3:10 AM today. Misty is joined by Greyson, Mick, Cambria, Savannah, Donovan and Rhoden. Jocelyn is suffered a miscarriage with Chet Holmgren, her boyfriend, just before her 17th birthday. The movie "Mongo's in the Hall" is out today about the life and retrospective of Steve McMichael.

Kathryn Ann Leslie, age 90, of Purdin, Missouri passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at her home in Moberly, Missouri. Memorial services will be held Friday, October 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Tom Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Haseville Cemetery in Haseville, Missouri. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Flashback: Faron Subs For Shelly at Charlotte

In May 1995, Faron, 12, subs for Shelly Walther while she was in Odessa, Missouri for a truck race, and he was in the Busch race at Charlotte, Faron interviewed three drivers before the race, Tracy Leslie, Elton Sawyer and Dale Jarrett. The next day, Faron also interviewed Ricky Craven, Elton and Robert Pressley. In the middle of Elton's interview, Diamond Rio had to stop by to say hello to Faron.

Flashback: Celebrity Race 1993

On Oct. 8, 1993, the celebrity race was held at Charlotte Motor Speedway. 10 Busch and 10 Winston cup drivers and 2 ladies are competing for the race. Jeff Burton won the pole for the draw, not the qualifying run. Glenn Jarrett interviewed two ladies Shelly Walther and Marla Medders and Tracy Leslie before the race. Maverine Michael also interviewed Joe Bessey and Jeff before the race. Marla was driving for #71 for Keith Fahnhorst, not Dave Marcis, and the owner is Bobby Labonte, and Shelly picked #20 because Dale Jarrett already has #18. Marla has a sponsor of Vern Gosdin, and Shelly has a sponsor of Joe Diffie. Five drivers involved in an accident on lap 14, Morgan Shepherd had the engine problem before birthday boy Bill Elliott had spun out, and bumps into Shelly and Tom Peck. Flashback: Faron and Joe's Rowdy Birthday

On June 25, 1993, at Watkins Glen, Marla's son Faron and Joe Bessey were having a rowdy birthday. They turned 11 and 32, respectively. Faron was with Ward Burton and Tracy Leslie, and Joe was with Rodney Combs, Robert Pressley and Tom Peck. They sang the birthday song separately for the two of them. Midi Miller had Faron's cake, and Patrice McBride had Joe's too. After that Faron, Joe and the rest of the drivers sang the early birthday song for Steve Grissom. Later on Tracy played Faron's guitar which was given from Clint Black.

Shane Wins For the Sixth Time

Yesterday, Shane van Gisbergen won for the sixth time and fifth this year at Charlotte with a Roval. Marla finally attended the race alongside Reid Jones and Cheyenne Langston and their children Micah (b. July 21, 2015), and Everly (b. July 31, 2017). Her daughter-in-law Lorrie is not here supporting them. After Shane's win, Marla ran into Jeff Burton for appreciation alongside Reid and Cheyenne.

NASCAR Stars in Superstars Game

In August 1993, 14 Busch drivers competed in the Superstars for NASCAR. Cleta Medders, Glenn Jarrett, Lynn Swann and Dan Dierdorf were the announcers. The teams were Marla and Shelly. The airing is after the Rougemont race two months later. Shelly in Rougemont and Dublin

In 1992, the alternate of TNN has aired three with highlights, two in Rougemont and one in Dublin. Shelly Walther became a pit reporter a year prior. In Dublin, Shelly interviewed Chuck Bown before the race. She also interviewed Tommy Houston, Chuck's brother Jim, Butch Miller and Jeff Burton, who was originally in victory lane, but disqualified, and Bobby Dotter won the race. Tom Peck was the last to be interviewed by Shelly. In Rougemont the following month, Shelly interviewed Robert Pressley before and after the race as he won the race. Shelly also interviewed Tracy Leslie, Shawna Robinson, Ricky Craven, Jerry Glanville and Steve Grissom. In the post race, Shelly interviewed Jeff Gordon and Tom. Two months later, Shelly interviewed Robert before the race. During the race it was Tommy, Chuck and 17-year-old Nathan Buttke. The Marla Comedy Prequel to Aired on Paramount on Jan. 31

Reid Jones and Cheyenne Langston had created a cartoon show about the prequel called "The Marla Comedy Prequel." The original creator Darryl Ingram passed away in March 2023 at age 70. The show will air on Paramount on Jan. 31, 2026, and will have 10 episodes.

Flashback: Allison Brothers Dueled In

On Mar. 6, 1992, after qualifying, Marla and her two kids Faron and Natalee were at the arcade game helping out with Davey and Clifford Allison. Clifford beats Davey on qualifying. Natalee was playing whacking the gophers with Chuck Bown, who was in his mustache before he got shaved, and Faron plays the racing game with the Allison Brothers. As the kids were tired, Marla and Tracy Leslie had spent the night at the motel. Natalee was sleeping in the bed, and Faron in the sleeping bag. The next morning during the live taping on RaceDay, Shelly Walther interviewed all of them before the race got started. Faron said at the end of it, "Swell until you came in." Harry Gant won the race.

Septuplets Arrives

At 6 PM yesterday evening, Trey and Sylvia welcomed septuplets, six boys and a girl in order. Here's the birth order. 1. Kyle Garrett IV 2. Graiden Michael 3. Axton Hoyt 4. Callen Jackson 5. Taylor Vaughan 6. Oakley Wayne 7. Mirabelle Anniston The septs will stay in three to four months at the hospital to feel fine. The McCaughey septuplets were 27 years old now. Gatlin, Truett and Tobias were the big brothers. Gatlin is 20 months old, and the twins were 10 months old.
