Flashback: Margaret Remembers the Kibrick Brothers

In 1934, Marla's mom Margaret first met the Kibrick Brothers through her brothers Lonnie and Johnny. Leonard and Sidney were four years apart. Their sister Lillian isn't acting, and they are Jewish. Margaret's mom Erlie told the four boys, "Boys, don't be a bully, let's be friends for a while." Lonnie was two months older than Leonard, and Sidney was 8 days older than Johnny. They last paired in 1942 when Lonnie graduates from high school like Leonard. Lonnie and Leonard served in WWII, Sidney and Johnny did not because they're too young. Margaret crushes Leonard most of the time before his graduation. She returned to North Carolina in June 1946 after her mother had tuberculosis and died. She later graduated in high school eleven months later, and married her husband Lonnie Medders in September 1948. Leonard married Nancy a month before and they had a daughter Gail.

Lonnie visits his dad during the war, stayed in North Carolina, married his wife and had three children. Johnny too got married and he had two children. In September 1982, Leonard and Sidney attended Lonnie's funeral, and also attended the funeral is Dorothy DeBorba, whom Leonard and Sidney did not know. In 1984, Margaret reunited with the Kibrick brothers while watching the Our Gang documentary four years after the death of her husband. In 1988, Leonard and Sidney also attended Johnny's funeral.

On Monday, January 4, 1993, Leonard passed away at age 68. Margaret attends Leonard's funeral before she was diagnosed with cancer until she died in September 1996 at age 67. Sidney is now 97.
