Erlie's Our Gang Appearances

In 1930, Erlie appeared as Mary Ann's mother in "When the Wind Blows." The Chaneys were the duplex neighbors, according to the deleted scene.

In 1932, Erlie appeared as Dorothy's mother in both shorts "Readin' and Writin'" and "Free Wheeling," but the scenes were cut. In "Readin' and Writin'," Erlie told Dorothy to get ready for school. In "Free Wheeling," she told Lillian Rich, her character sister to take care of Dorothy as her cousin Dickie, who hurt is neck, is gone. Erlie doesn't have time to chase, but she goes to the mall to find some clothes.

In 1935, Erlie appeared with Margaret and Lonnie in "Beginner's Luck." Erlie told Spanky's mother that Lonnie won a contest after Spanky disqualifies. Erlie also appeared in "the Lucky Corner," but the scene was also cut. She was drinking lemonade with starch, and spits, and she told Leonard Kibrick and his father about the same ingredient. She told Buckwheat the truth, and his father told him to use sugar, not starch.

More deleted scenes were made, in 1939, Erlie played Darla's mother at the end of "Duel Personalities," she told Darla to do some chores after she was grounded for not seeing Waldo.

In "Alfalfa's Double," Alfalfa's mother grounded him for not doing chores until his father gets back, but heads to his aunt Erlie's house for the violin lessons.

In "Goin' Fishin'," Erlie played Leonard Landy's mother as she told him and the rest of the kids not to fish until the next year.

In "Mighty Lak a Goat," Erlie played Froggy's mother as she told him and the rest of the kids not to touch Erlie's husband's stuff which was made with odors.

And in "Benjamin Franklin Jr.," Erlie played Mickey Laughlin's mother as she told Mickey not to go out in the snow with new shoes on, her real life son Johnny was also in the deleted scene.
