Flashback: Meet Maverine's Neighbor Who is Larry Cole's Cousin

In 1976, as Maverine buys the house in Lakeville, Minnesota, she meets the neighbors Curtis and Zelda Cole. They had three children Cheryl, Lonnie and Sally. Curtis claims that his dad Albert had his brother Lewis whose grandson Larry Cole is a football star. Curtis died in 1996 and Zelda in 2012. Lonnie died in 1999.

In 1978, during her "Sinners and Saints" special. Marla had four movie clips in which the Statler Brothers had their favorites. First, in "It's a Wonderful Life," Harold Reid played George, Marla played Mary and Marla's niece Leslie played Zuzu. Lew DeWitt as Clarence, Phil Balsley as Billy, and Don Reid as Henry. In "Giant," Phil played Bick, Marla played Leslie, Harold as Jett, Don as Bawley, and Lew as a friend. In "The Music Man" Don played Harold Hill, Harold as Marcellus, Marla as Marian, and Phil and Lew as church goers.
