Flashback: 1983 United Way Commercial

In 1983, Marla appeared in a commercial called United Way where Tanya Cronin had autism. Tanya's cousin is Gene Cronin of the Detroit Lions. Tanya is now 44 years old.

Walt Garrison Dies

Natalee called Marla this morning about the death of Walt Garrison, who died over the weekend in Texas. He was 79. Marla remembers Walt as a wonderful and loving man. His youngest son Ben died in April of this year, and he was divorced with no children at the time. The oldest son Marty had two sons and a grandson. Walt played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1966-74, he was on Skoal commercials several times, and visit Marla's sister-in-law Lori in her own show in 1987.

Episode 10 of the Zero Club 1975: The Chain Gang Hoedown

Eual and Ester came over to chat with Marla, Blaine and Larry, and found a letter of the Chain Gang Hoedown. Kim told the guys that Freddy Jackson is a bank robber, steals memorabilia, abducting his girlfriend and others. At prison, five guys Buster, Wilford, Weller, Rayford and Doyle (John Riggins, Randy Rasmussen, Winston Hill, Emerson Boozer and Jerome Barkum) asked Marla to dance, and she said no, and then she asked Doyle about Pamela Trenton, he said Pamela was beating to death 3 days ago. Flashback: Maverine's Friendship With Ladies in 1977

In August 1977, after Patty went to the psych ward, Maverine found three friends, two of them never knew, but one knew her. Lucinda Kraft, Kathy Reid and Lynn Youngkrantz. Lucinda was dating Tommy Kramer, Kathy dated Scott Studwell, and Lynn dated Dennis Swilley. Lucinda and Tommy splits in half in Houston and Lakeville, Lynn and Dennis lived in Lakeville during the season, and Denton, Texas in the off season, and Kathy and Scott lived together in Lakeville. These rowdy friends are still getting along until Scott splits with Kathy because of her underaged drinking problem. Scott dated Maverine while making a movie with Tommy, Lucinda, Dennis and Lynn. Kathy has esophageal cancer until she died in January 2010. Tommy splits with Lucinda in 1981, and she is still alive as of now. Lynn splits with Dennis as his mustache grew in 1981, and she died in July 2006 after a four year battle with breast cancer.
