Flashback: NASCAR Country

In 1998, Maverine narrates about the NASCAR stars who likes country music. First, Dale Earnhardt was the fan of Brooks & Dunn, and he appeared in their video "Honky Tonk Truth."

Bill Elliott said he's from Georgia like Alan Jackson, in which he appeared in "Who's Cheatin' Who," and his favorite singer was Maverine Michael.

Jeff Gordon was the fan of Vince Gill for playing golf, and he also hangs out with Denny Streeter and Diamond Rio.

Dale Jarrett said that his daughter Natalee concerns of buying a Shania Twain CD, Maverine would obliged it. His other favorite singer was Marla Medders.

Bobby Labonte likes Charlie Daniels and Marla Medders. He met Marla during the taping of Maverine's Christmas Show in 1984 at age 20. His brother Terry likes Garth Brooks and Marla as well. Terry said he was listening to every Vern Gosdin songs as did George Strait.

In 1992, Mark Martin appeared in a Sammy Kershaw music video "Anywhere But Here." Sammy realizes that he went to Winn-Dixie to see Mark, and Sammy went to Bristol to see Mark.

Ricky Rudd also likes Marla Medders, and his wife Linda likes the same favorite singer as well.

Rusty Wallace likes rock and country, but his favorite country singer is Marla Medders. Noticing the song "My Maria" by Brooks & Dunn became more suitable.

Bonus: Jeff Burton likes Marla Medders as a boy and met in 1990 while his brother Ward had his debut. His favorite rock song was "Welcome to the Jungle," and his favorite country song by Marla was "Gone Too Far," a cover of England Dan and John Ford Coley.
