1990 Episode 1: January
Lynn Streeter (Cheyenne Reid) was the true hard worker. Her triplet sisters Melissa, Melanie and Melinda (Kendall Winebrenner, Leslie Cunningham and Ashlyn Meldrum) were assistants. Lynn was the all time football fan. The 49ers were her favorites. They asked about Gilligan's Island show.
At the bar, the ladies heard "She's Got a Man on Her Mind" by Curtis Wright, and Lynn played the jukebox of Marsha Thornton's "Bottle of Wine and Patsy Cline."
On Jan. 6, Paul Overstreet's "Seein' My Father in Me" had its debut, and the music videos had fathers and sons, or grandsons that is. Melinda thought "Ice Station Zebra" had all male characters, but "The Women" had all female characters.
Melanie said Keith Whitley died in May of last year, and the music video "It Ain't Nothin'" features from his childhood to his adult life.
Melissa was watching "Robin Hood" where Terry-Thomas played Hiss the snake. The girls said about Joe Robbie dead while headed to Lakeville, Minnesota for the ice skating.
As Barbara Stanwyck and Ava Gardner died, Eddie Rabbitt's song "On Second Thought" was in the top ten.
Before headed to New Orleans, the girls heard Vern Gosdin's "That Just About Does it" before the 49ers and the Broncos game. The 49ers beats the Broncos, and the girls were exciting.
