Flashback: Marla Hangs Out with Vern and Conway

In 1991, Marla became a substitute singer for George Jones as George had his solo tour, she hangs out with Vern Gosdin and Conway Twitty. Marla came first, then Vern and then Conway. Marla sang duets with Vern called "Yesterday's Gone" on her album, and she also sang with Conway in "Every Time I Think Its Over," from two albums for both of them. Marla had her surprise guests Jeff and Ward Burton, and Jeff's then girlfriend Kim Browne sang background vocals for Marla. Marla's niece Leslie also sang backgrounds for Conway. Jeff, Ward and Marla sang two songs, "All the Gold in California," and "Better Than I Did Then."
