Ninth Episode of Marla's Game: San Francisco 49ers

Marla was at the thrift store looking for Kenny Loggins' 45 record of "This is It," but the store clerk named Jeremy Craddock (played by Clay Harris) said he don't have one, all he had was the Larry Boone record called "Swinging Doors, Sawdust Floors." Minutes later, Russ Francis said, "Did you get this is it?" Marla said, "No, all I had was the Larry Boone record."

In addition to Russ, they were Randy Cross, Dwight Clark, Ronnie Lott, Keena Turner, Dwight Hicks, Harris Barton, Roger Craig, Tom Rathman, Jerry Rice, Steve Young, Brent Jones and Merton Hanks. The two coaches were Bill Walsh and George Seifert.

Randy, Dwight C., Russ, Harris and Brent heard the song "Wine Me Up," and the original song went to Faron Young.

Marla got the VHS in which Steve was sexy and attracts many girls, Bill Romanowski was also on tape, wearing a tank top playing basketball with Marla.

Seconds later, Brent told Marla about the advice and he said, "I don't think you get it, I'm telling you, one last time, stay away from that cardboard of Richard Petty."

After Richard and four other drivers in cardboards, Marla chases in dreams as Brent said, "You are rooming with Steve Young." Marla screams her head off and Keena shuts her mouth and said, "Marla, stop screaming, you make my teammates desperate, especially Merton."

The next morning, Marla was sitting in the booth chair as Dwight C. and Randy came along. Marla said about the RCA turntable, Dwight and Randy talks about the other guy and Marla shows Randy a picture of Jeremy, who works at the thrift store.

An hour later, Marla said about different guys, Russ was interrupting at Marla and said, "That's a nice story you tell with these guys." Marla said, "Russ, don't interrupt, my prayer's been answered." Randy tells Marla the instructions of praying.

After five minutes, she said, "Amen." Marla brought clams and Squidward said in tape recorder, "Clam Fishing." Dwight C. told Marla and he screams, "Now listen to me, Marla, I don't like that clam things you got, and get your GD clams back where it came from!"

Marla saw Cecil the dog sitting down, went outside and Randy said, "What's going on, Marla?" Marla said, "Cecil's been worried a lot of times." A black cat just showed up, and Randy said, "Cecil, sick em." Cecil chases the black cat.

Marla told Dwight H. about having fun. Meanwhile, Cecil came back and Dwight H. said, "No sir, Cecil, no." Cecil licks Dwight H.'s face, and Marla said, "Cecil, bad boy, Dwight, when you get home, take a shower if you don't mind."

The next morning, Marla was sweeping the sidewalks, went inside, and Russ said, "Marla said, 'nudity' to the guys and eject the tape." The guys started to laugh and Russ also said, "Marla said, 'I'm sorry to say that I had to take away this tape of Dressed to Kill,' fired the media director and went to the thrift store to donate."

Marla saw Bill and George picking up trash and Bill told Marla about the advice they had. The rest of the players saw the pictures of Marla, Harris and Russ. Marla said she don't want her husband Marty to see this. Jerry said, "Have you heard of this?" Marla said, "That's me and Matt Millen." Marla said that she had a marital relationship with Millen while his wife Patricia was pregnant with fourth child.

Ronnie was having a charades, uses a remote control to play and it was the Gatlin Brothers singing the Nation Anthem in 1989. Randy said, "Ronnie, turn it off, it's just the Gatlin Brothers singing. Not down, off." Ronnie said, "I'm John Wayne." Marla said as she takes off the cowboy hat, "Stop fooling around, Ronnie, we got company."

Marla told the guys about having fun, Randy said, "Wrong, you can't do that one way to another, girl. Think about what you said." Ronnie, Dwight C., Randy and Marla went to the thrift store, and that same clerk told the elderly lady that the credit has rejected. They find "This is it" by Kenny Loggins, and Marla told Jeremy about it.

They arrived at the bar, telling the rest of the players to play that song, and it did.

Walsh died three months after its airing, Clark in 2018 and Francis in 2023.
