Flashback: Marla's Specials

In January 1976, Marla had her first special with guest stars Mel Street and Freddy Weller. Ten months later, the next special is Marla in Nashville with guest stars Red Sovine, Johnny Paycheck and Larry Gatlin. Red confirms he dated her before the show and his wife died on Marla's 18th birthday.

Three months later in 1977, the Valentine's Day special is featured by Billy "Crash" Craddock and Maverine Michael. Next is Easter Sunday with Marla is featured by the Statler Brothers and Connie Smith. In December, the Christmas special is featured by Craddock, Gatlin, Johnny Rodriguez and Bob Luman.

In February 1978, the next special is Marla: After the Super Bowl with Paycheck, Street, and her brother Harold Medders. Cameos were Roger Staubach, Tony Dorsett, Ralph Neely, Larry Cole, D.D. Lewis and Cliff Harris. In June, the next special is Marla's Sinners and Saints Special is featured by the Statlers, Maverine and Gary Stewart. Mick Tingelhoff had a cameo in "Sinners and Saints." The last special is in August was Marla in Iowa with guests Randy Barlow and Vern Gosdin.

Faron and Natalee Show

From 1998 to 1999, Faron and Natalee had a new TV show that features country stars. Ed Bruce plays the walkie talkie bass voice on phone in all of these episodes, but appeared on episode 13. 1.
