Flashback: At Daytona Beach 1985

In 1985, Marla's group MMQ went to Daytona Beach for a concert a day before the race. It was live on a local TV channel. Bryan Herndon, 18, from Arkansas subs for Keith's little brother Jim on drums.

Five months later, at the same place, Marla was wearing the Buddy Arrington shirt, although Buddy and J.D. McDuffie were there to race. Keith and Randy wears the blue shirt, and Russ and Dwight, red. MMQ were performing a pre race concert before Greg Sacks won the race. She never reunited Buddy until weeks later.
