Our Gang Documentary 1993 By Cyndy

In December 1993, Cyndy, Marla's cousin was the host of the Our Gang documentary. Her aunt Margaret and Marla were interviewed. The book was in 1992, and death date adds for owner Hal Roach, Andy Samuel, Jack Davis, Leonard Kibrick and Spanky McFarland in this documentary.

Here's the correction or the slight of error in this documentary:

Jackie Condon did not write a book before his death, according to his wife Shirley, and Tommy Bond did not marry Bess Myerson.

Here's the Gang now:

Ernie Morrison died in 1989 at age 76. Peggy Cartwright, who married the black actor William Walker, attends Ernie's funeral and she died in 2001. Eugene Jackson, who replaces Ernie, plays the instrumental solo at the funeral, and he also died the same year as Peggy.

Jackie Condon died in 1977 without full time jobs in acting. Allen Hoskins, now known as Al, died in 1980.

Cyndy confirms that Mickey Daniels is missing in 1970 until his body was found at the abandoned motel in San Diego in 1991, the autopsy claims that he had cirrhosis of the liver.

Mary Kornman McCutcheon died in 1973 of cancer at age 57. She had no children. Mary's sister Mildred is a model with a different name and died in 2022.

Jack Davis, the brother of Mildred Davis Lloyd, died one day after Hal Roach died in November 1992.

Joe Cobb lived alone until he died in 2002. Joe worked with Jackie Condon in Rockwell international. He had a cameo in a Denny Streeter music video, "Down and Out Lover" in 1991. Johnny Downs died in 1994. Andy Samuel, who is considered to be the oldest Our Gang star, died in 1992.

Elmer "Scooter" Lowry's whereabouts are unknown at the time of this documentary, but he died in 1989.

Jay R. Smith was killed in 2002 and Jean Darling died in 2015.

Harry Spear took a stage name from his grandmother from his mother's side, and he died in 2006.

Bobby Hutchins was killed in the plane crash in 1945, at age 20. Erlie Stegall attends Wheezer's funeral. Wheezer's younger brother Dickie, who only appeared in "Forgotten Babies," died in 1978, according to their cousin Robert Roe.

Cyndy met Mary Ann Jackson in 1990 as the Spanking Age is found in some of the reels. Mary Ann died the same day as Otto Graham in 2003.

Norman Chaney died of poor health after complications from weight loss surgery in 1936.

Jackie Cooper last appeared in 1987, reconnects with Mary Ann Jackson for a meeting, and he died in 2011.

Dorothy DeBorba was in Berkeley for college and met Lonnie Medlin. In this deleted scene of "Fish Hooky," she kissed him. She attended Lonnie's funeral in 1982. Dorothy is the mother of a daughter and a son. She died in 2010.

Matthew Beard had a stroke after his birthday, and died on Jan. 8, 1981. His trademark derby hat was buried beside him. His younger siblings Betty Jane, Carlena, Bobbie and Rene were actors.

Jerry Tucker first appeared in 1931 and died in 2016 just after his birthday.

Spanky McFarland died in 1993 two months after he last appeared in the opening of Cheers. The cause of death was the heart attack. His younger brother Tommy died in 1982.

Tommy Bond died in 2005. Wally Albright died in 1999. Dickie Moore, who married Jane Powell, died in 2015.

Scotty Beckett died in 1968 two days after he went to the hospital. Billie Thomas died in 1980, a few months after he attended the Our Gang reunion. Carl Switzer was killed in 1959 after he was friendly to Roy Rogers.

Eugene Gordon Lee, who is Porky, lives next door to Erlie Stegall, who is recently separated from her husband. He was a teacher in Colorado and attended the concert for Erlie's granddaughter Marla Medders. He is divorced with one son Douglas after the director Gordon Douglas. He died in 2005.

The Kibrick brothers, Leonard and Sidney had a nightly dinner with Erlie. Leonard crushes her daughter Margaret, and Sidney was 8 days older than her brother Johnny. Leonard died in 1993, and Sidney is still alive as of now. Margaret confirms that the 1984 reunion was a huge success for the Kibricks and Margaret.

Darla Hood died in 1979 just before the Christmas special was aired. Darwood Smith, who is Darwood Kaye, was killed by the hit and run accident in 2002. Janet Burston's whereabouts are unknown at the time of this documentary, and she died in 1998. Shirley Coates is a Canadian and died in 2020. Robert Blake, then Mickey Gubitosi, arrested in 2001, but acquitted four years later for murder, and he died in 2023.

Billy Laughlin, who is Froggy, was friendly to Erlie as did the rest of his family, including Mickey, who died in 1996. Froggy was killed in a traffic accident at age 16 in 1948, one year after Erlie passed away.

Shirley Jean Rickert died in 2009, John Keith Collum, who is Uh-Huh, died in 1962. After 1984, John Keith's family confirms that he is Uh-Huh. Marianne Edwards died in 2013. Leonard Landy, who wiggled his ears in most of the series, died in 2017. He was identified in 1977. Donald Haines was killed in WWII in 1943. Sherwood Bailey died on his birthday in 1987. Kendall McComas fatally committed suicide in 1981.

Robert Young, or Clifton, died in a hotel fire where he fell asleep while smoking in bed in 1951. Jackie Lynn Taylor died in 2014. Mel "Gary" Jasgur, who is little Junior, died in 1994.
