Flashback: Monday Night Slammer 1975

On Nov. 10, 1975, two weeks before Bob Lilly became a ring of honor, the Dallas Cowboys faces off with the Kansas City Chiefs. Before the game, Marla told Willie Lanier and Lee Roy Jordan to arm wrestled, and it did. One girl interviewed 24 of 25 legendary Texas players and Marla. Bill Forester remembers Marla as he saw her and her brother Harold by lunch break. Kyle Rote was next to Marla. Yale Lary has been supported Marla until 1979. Marla was singing "Mom and Dad Waltz" with Bob while interviewing.

During the game, Marla told Gene Upshaw to keep an eye on his brother Marvin, who died on Marla's birthday this year. Marla told Paul Wiggin, the coach for the Chiefs that he knew Jim Ray Smith. By halftime, Marla supported Bulldog Turner and Kyle. The Chiefs beats the Cowboys 34-31.
