Flashback: Harold in "Honeysuckle Rose"

In 1980, Harold Medders, Marla's brother was in the deleted scenes of "Honeysuckle Rose" with Willie Nelson. He played Vern Crowell, Bonnie's husband. Bonnie is played by Willie's real life sister Bobbie. Vern and fiddle player Johnny Gimble were hosts for the family reunion. Vern announces that Jamie (Joey Floyd) was having stage fright of playing guitar for the first time on stage after Amy Irving, who played Lily Ramsey sings "Crazy." Vern and Lily sings "After the Fire is Gone" before naked children went on to swim. Vern and Bonnie kisses after headed to the restroom while Willie sings "Til I Gain Control Again" with Emmylou Harris. As Jamie prayed, a phone rang for Viv (Dyan Cannon), it was Vern, in which Brag and Cotton were killed by a suspect Micah Fitzgerald.
