Third Episode of Marla's Game: Kansas City Chiefs

Marla likes to have fun with Len Dawson, Willie Lanier and Jim Lynch. At the table, Len said when he holds a picture, "This is my daughter Lisa, she's a Chiefette." Marla said, "Did you have Len Jr." Len said, "I got one more in my wallet. That's him after my first wife died."

Meanwhile, Marla said, "So, what's your real name?" Len said, "Leonard." Willie and Jim starts to laugh as Len said, "Now that's serious," and Marla kisses his left cheek.

Marla was watching Len's news, and one of the players, E.J. Holub was there. Len said after she pauses, "That's E.J. Holub." Marla said, "I know, Len."

Meanwhile, Marla was looking at the grave pictures of Len's parents. James died while Len was playing in 1969, and Annie died four days after Christmas 1974. Len said, "The name of my six older brothers were Ronald, James, Gilbert, Joshua, Thomas and Jack. I was the ninth child and the seventh son, my dad's a seventh son to me." Marla said, "I had six brothers, too, Jim, Chuck, Johnny, Duane, Arlie and Harold. I was thinking that are you are the seventh son of the seventh son. I'm the seventh child and the only girl, and I'm the youngest."

The Chiefs did not win another until 2019 and 2022. Jim and Len died a month apart in 2022, and Willie is the last survivor as of now.
