Second Episode of Marla's Game: New York Jets

Marla and Joe Namath were talking about back in their younger days. Joe said, "Thank you, Lord." Joe brought Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons record, Marla said, "Give me that, Joe, pretend I'm Mrs. Werblin." Marla thinks she's Mrs. Werblin and said, "Joseph, it's show business." Joe said, "No, it's not, it's football. This is football, it's not show business." Marla said, "Let me think what I said, Joey, it's show business."

Meanwhile, Don Maynard said, "I believe it was on Thursdays, where a friend of mine ordered a wrong kind of soup." Marla said in shock, "So sorry to hear that, Donny." Gerry Philbin said, "He was tough, as, nails. Believe me, I give up." Marla said, "What was that?" Gerry said, "And I called him a Prima Donna, when a young man at 8 years old told me to signed autographs, and then, Walt Michaels threatened."

Marla was watching a 1972 Jets sideline while Maynard with a mustache and Joe were talking. Marla also had a clip from a preseason for the Jets.

Marla was watching the game in which Larry Grantham said about his poise. Marla told the guys that Don said, "Nothing else matters."

Meanwhile, Gerry said, "They should've been very upset when Don Shula coached for the Colts." Marla said, "What was that supposed to mean?" Gerry said, "Shula tries that a lot, and beat this S*** out of us." Marla said, "Stop that," while she was using a big cork. Gerry spits the big cork and make Joe and Don laugh.

Maynard died in 2022.
