Marla in Phoenix; Coy Gibbs Dies

On Friday, Marla and Kyle were in Phoenix, Arizona for a vacation before she will tour with the Lytles. Zane Smith won the race and was the champion for trucks. The next day, Ty Gibbs won the race and held a championship. Hours later, his father Coy died.

Ty has decided to have a family leave the next day. Coy is survived by his wife Heather, three more children, Case, Jett and Elle, sister-in-law Melissa, and nephews Jackson, Miller, Jason and Taylor, now 18.

Marla and Steve Phelps, the NASCAR president, were on hand of Coy's dad Joe's legacy. Marla said, "Joe now has lost all two sons for three years, all aged 49." Joe said after that, "I lost all of them." The 1996 pro football hall of fame coach exclaims about his sons' passing.

Marla said, "I saw two securities, the Asian and a black, grabbing Joe crying about the boys' deaths." Joey Logano won the race, and got a championship.
