Flashback: Marla and MMQ Performs at Church 2019
On Saturday Sept. 21, 2019, Marla and MMQ were ready to roll at church, but Harris and Brent decided to stay in California, but subs by Taylor Nelson (Steve Nelson's cousin) and Evan Lewis (Micah's cousin). Now former Vikings players were sitting in the front pew, and church goers went to the upstairs pew. Three of them were late, Oscar Reed, Fred Cox and Alan Page. Page went to Ohio a day before to visit a friend who is nearly dying. Fred had his doctor's appointment, and Oscar went to Mississippi for a friend's funeral. Absents were Bookie Bolin, Gary Cuozzo, Billy Harris, Jim Lindsey, Mike McGill, Mike Reilly, Charlie West, Roy Winston and Ron Yary.
They sang 13 songs, omitting Farther Along and God is Real.

Mick Tingelhoff had left church, had a heart attack and will not attend again the next day while he's at the hospital. Reilly died a month later, and Cox died a month after Reilly. Tingelhoff died two years later of Parkinson's and dementia. Milt Sunde died a year earlier of Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. Winston died in 2022.
