Episode 20 of the Marla Show

Jody and Darlia Welcomes 10th Child

Marla's stepson Jody and his wife Darlia had welcomed their 10th child and fifth girl by the name of Juniper Louise this morning at 4:06 AM. She was joined by three sisters and five brothers, but the fourth sister died two and a half years before she was born.

Flashback: Lynn Marie Took Tracy's Place in Nashville

On June 21, at the celebrity race in Nashville, Tracy Leslie was supposed to drive for #63 Hensley car, he felt sick for the flu and let the singer from Harlan, Iowa, Lynn Marie Peterson drive a race car. She finished second to Jeremy Medders, who drove for Kingsford sponsor car for Robert Pressley, who was in Pocono. Jeremy won the race after the last lap pass after Lynn led 5 laps.

Flashback: Marla's Concert in Daytona Beach 1993

In August 1993, minutes after Marla's team won for the Superstars of NASCAR. She has a concert in Daytona Beach, and Tracy Leslie was the special guest. The VHS was released in December 1993. 1. Flashback: Faron in Karen's Music Video

In 1995, Faron had a duet with Karen Marshall in a song called "This Old House," which is not a Stuart Hamblen song, it was the Clint Black song. The music videos feature the cameos of Joe Bessey and Tanya Tucker. As you can see Karen was using Karen Brooks' album "Walk On," and she got Freddy Weller's self-titled album. That song is from Karen's only album in 1995. Clint's version is with 8 singers in 2019.

Marla and Mike Judge To Have A Movie

A few days ago, Marla Medders and Mike Judge decided to have a new crossover movie between King of the Hill and the Marla Comedy Show. This was made in live action and it's called "The Hills and the Boones." Marla reveals there's going to be a reunion after her character ex-husband's current wife died of breast cancer and Gracie's adoption story. The shooting was next week or so.

Flashback: Tracy's First Movie and Marla's Song In The Same Movie

In 1991, Tracy Leslie had his first movie role in "Hard Times Keep Waiting" as a hard-core worker named Randy Keith McBride, and Lynn Pomeroy played Lynn, Randy's wife. After his Michigan win for ARCA, Tracy decided to shoot the film before he failed to qualify at Charlotte. One song in this movie was "It's Not Over" by Marla Medders. Marla's daughter Natalee played Randy's daughter Jessi. Lynn also had a movie with her twin sister Gwynn after that in "Quadruplets in Love."

Sidney Kibrick Dies

Sidney Kibrick, the Woim, died three days ago at age 97. He died a day before the 33rd anniversary of his big brother Leonard's death. Sidney and Leonard first known Marla's mother Margaret and Margaret's two brothers in 1934. Sidney attended Margaret's funeral in 1996.

Flashback: Meeting With First Call

In 1986, after Sandi Patty recorded a VHS version of "Let There Be Praise," Marla interviewed all members of First Call, Marty McCall, Bonnie Keen and Melodie Tunney. The group had four children at the time, Ben, Courtney, Peter and Whitney. At the show, the group sang with MMQ called "Undivided" where Melodie wrote as Dwight, Marla and Keith did a bridge part, and Randy and Russ later added in the chorus.

Flashback: Cheyenne in Kristen Finnemore's Album

In 2015, Cheyenne Langston was pregnant with Micah as she recorded a song called "Love in Any Language" from Kristen Finnemore's album "A Tribute to Sandi." This is a tribute album for Sandi Patty. Cheyenne sang the first verse after Kristen. Phillips, Craig and Dean, First Call, 4him and Larnelle Harris had a cameo in that same song. The Macomb County, Michigan children's choir was also on hand. Lane Craddock also had a duet with Kristen in the "Duet Medley," and Michael Tait is the super vocalist in "Hosanna."

Flashback: Meeting With Sandi Patty

In 1989, just before Sandi Patty had her last biological child Erin, Marla and her husband Marty invited Sandi for lunch and she and her ex-husband John Helvering had three other children, Anna (pronounced Onna), and twins Jennifer and Jonathan. Marla's children Faron and Natalee were there, and Anna and Natalee were the same age. Anna and Natalee had a movie that same year with the Pomeroy twins, Lynn and Gwynn called "My Cousin's Keeper," about a cousin who passed away from cancer. Anna and Natalee played the fraternal twin daughters of Lynn.

Jonah and Wife Expecting Fifth Child

Jonah and his wife Savannah are expecting their fifth child due at the end of July. Cas, Conway, Glynis and Weller will be big siblings.

Marla Finally Reunites Tracy At Mt. Clemens Mall

This afternoon, after 25 years of not seeing each other. Marla Medders finally reunited with Tracy Leslie at Mt. Clemens Mall where Cheyenne Langston had the autograph session for her latest book "Being the TV Daughter." Reid Jones was also there. Marla, Tracy, Cheyenne were Reid were happy together since the 1999 reunion in Atlanta, Georgia. Marla said she is thrilled to see Tracy again, even Cheyenne and Reid. Marla and Tracy last saw each other in September 2001 in Marne, Michigan where the late Tim Steele won the race.

Flashback: The Medders Cousins Program 1998

In January 1998, the Medders Cousins had released the only program for a concert. The first two pages are when they performed at the Astrodome in Houston. The next few pages are when they were profiled.
