Jonah and Wife Expecting A Boy

Jonah and his wife Savannah are expecting their fourth child due in May, and it's a boy. Jonah and Savannah named their son Weller Keith. Cas, Conway and Glynis will be big siblings.

Norie and Boyfriend Expecting a Girl

Norie and her boyfriend Camden Willer had changed the baby's name from Muriel Fae to Mallory Carren Willer. Because Muriel's name is "gross," according to Marla. Mallory's due date is in March.

Marla Visits Ailing Man At Paul Krause's Garage

On Sunday, Marla visit the ailing man from Minneapolis, Greg Anderson, 50. He has diagnosed with throat and oral cancer, Buerger’s disease with all four amputated, blindness and gum disease with all of the teeth gone in November 2021 right after he had a COVID 19 vaccine. While at Paul Krause's garage, watching the Vikings and the Seahawks were having a near upset, but the Vikings won. Greg's wife Dina give her a Christmas present, it's a picture of 11-year-old Greg and Marla in 1985.

Flashback: Forester Sisters Calls Marla "Fifth Sister"

In 1986, Marla had an interview with the Forester Sisters about the high school yearbook. Three of these had real names in the Dade County, Georgia school. Kathy Jean, Karen June and Christy Denise. The fourth, Kimatha Joy is not on the yearbook. Kim asked Marla about the advice. Kim is the first one to call Marla, "the fifth sister," and she wasn't. Marla has six brothers.

Cheyenne Reid's Brother Killed of Car Accident

Late last night at 9:30 PM, Josh Reid, the older brother of Cheyenne Reid, was killed of a car accident at the age of 29. The mother and the baby of another car were not injured of the car wreck, but the teenager was injured in a different car. Josh died the same day as the 21st anniversary of the death of his neighbor and country singer Gary Stewart.

Marla Tweets For Carl Albert Football Team

Late last night, Marla had tweet for the Carl Albert high school football team in Oklahoma where they beat Guthrie 30-6. Marla said that Maddox Wilkerson did a great job without his father, Jimmy, who passed away two days ago of a heart attack at age 43. Last month, Maverine cheered for Josie Tingelhoff and she and her classmates won the volleyball championship in Minnesota. No scholarship yet for Josie. Her grandfather Mick will be proud in heaven.

Maverine and Girls at Michigan 1989

On June 25, 1989, Maverine and the girls Marla, Lynn and Gwynn went to Michigan with Marla's son Faron, who turns 7 at the time. Ronnie Thomas had a final start, and Marla was sitting next to Ronnie while interviewing on TV. Bill Elliott is the winner. On Aug. 20, the girls headed to the same race track again to honor Tim Richmond, who passed away seven days prior. All of them were wearing Tim's shirt. Marla's son Faron and daughter Natalee were also there and Rusty Wallace is the winner.

Marla's Fan's Wife Gave Her a Necklace

Yesterday, Marla's fan Jamie's wife had gave her a necklace for Christmas. Last year, the wife lost her husband Jamie and their two sons Sonny, 20 months and Jesse, 4 days, of the car wreck on June 27, 2023. Jamie was 20 at the time of his death.

In March 1988, J.D. McDuffie was trying to interview on TV when Geoff Bodine and Buddy Arrington crashed at Darlington, where Lake Speed had his only win. Maverine was there at the time, and she and J.D. walked to the care center, supported Buddy. Maverine told Dick Brooks on the radio that Buddy is fine and decided to say hello to Billy Ray Smith Jr., her boyfriend at the time.

Trey and Wife Welcomes Twin Boys; Riley Has Seizures

Trey and his wife Sylvia welcomed twin boys, Tobias Brooks and Truett Burton just after 1 AM Nov. 30. The twins joined 10 month old brother Gatlin. Riley, Faron's adopted son had a seizure on Nov. 26 after playing with grandmother Marla. He is in coma and was still hospitalized as of now.

The Pomeroys in Burns (1985)

In 1985, Lynn and Gwynn went to Burns, Tennessee for preparing a new album for the NASCAR drivers. First they went to the local grocery store to visit Wayne Walp and his eight year old son Erik. They shared a room with them until the last one has cut the song. Lynn was the vocal coach, and Gwynn was the assistant of Jay Marshall, the producer and songwriter. One cameo appearance belongs to the lovely Jeannie Seely. She was the Opry member since 1967. She wrote songs for Cale Yarborough and Geoff Bodine. Lennie Pond also had a cameo supporting James Hylton. After completing the album, they all went to Daytona Beach for a concert for MMQ.
