Natalee's Husband Killed of Car Crash

Natalee's husband Brendan Boone was killed of a car crash early this morning after headed to the bar to meet his buddies. He turned 26 on July 9. In addition to Natalee, he survived by his children Charlie, Lilly, Garrison, Landry, Mac, now 4 years old, Brooks and Everly.

Happy Birthday Mac

Happy 4th birthday to Mac Boone. He is a big brother of Everly born last November.

Flashback: Having Fun in 1972

In 1972, Marla and her six older brothers were with some of the football stars to take more time. First Jim was having fun with Tommy Nobis, Greg Brezina and John Zook. Harold visits Johnny Unitas and Bubba Smith. Mike Reid was playing piano as Marla was singing a song with Lem Barney. Chuck plays handball with Rayfield Wright. Later on Marla chats with Tom Mack, and Harold sings while Emmitt Thomas plays the clarinet and Marla and Frank Nunley, who passed away last month, plays the saxophone.

Trey and Wife Expecting Twin Boys

Trey and his wife Sylvia were expecting twin boys to be named Tobias Brooks and Truett Burton. They were due on New Year's Day. Gatlin would have been a year old next year.

The Guy Whom Marla and Kyle Attends at the Courthouse Recaptures

A guy whom Marla and Kyle went to the courthouse in March, has been recaptured after the near escape in Dallas yesterday. He is originally scheduled to released in late October, but was sentenced to four additional months in prison, now has seven months.

Bobby Bryant Named to Vikings Ring of Honor

This morning, Bobby Bryant is named the Vikings Ring of Honor. Bobby called Maverine on the phone about the good news, and she told him to say to hello to Ron Yary, who turns 78 today. The ceremony is in Week 3 against the Texans.

Didn't We Shine to be Released July 26

This is a new charity song called "Didn't We Shine" about the Olympics in Paris. The song was previously recorded by Lynn Anderson, Waylon Jennings, and Randy Travis and friends. Three Vikings Lost Lives in Five Days

First, Khyree Jackson, who tried to play for the Vikings this year, was killed of a car accident with his two high school friends on July 6. Four days later, Neil Clabo, the punter in the 1970s, died of Alzheimer's at age 71. And the next day, Monte Kiffin passed away today at age 84. He tried to play for the Vikings in 1964 to be with his high school friend Mick Tingelhoff, but was cut. Monte was on the same team as a Defensive Coordinator in 1991.

Joe Bonsall Dies

On the morning of July 9, Joe Bonsall has passed away of ALS, seven months after his last performance as an Oak Ridge Boy. Maverine Michael was with Misty McMichael and Mary Hilgenberg via phone call about Joe. Maverine decided to have a commercial about Joe next month. Marla is in Bismarck with Kyle Jr. at the time of Joe's death.

William Lee's Oldest Son Passes

Rusty Golden, William Lee's oldest son, has passed away on July 1. He was 65. He was a lifelong bachelor, and spent more time with his nieces and nephews. He and his brother Chris formed as the Goldens in 1990. Before that, he helped with Larry Gatlin. He is survived by brothers Craig, Chris and Solomon.

Nicole and Kyle's Charity Song

In 1985, Kyle Livingstone and Nicole Vivier were writing a song about the Ethiopian children called "We Are Ethiopia" for Canadian country music stars. Quadquins Update

Walker, Waylon and Winston were big enough to go home, but Winston's growth is getting stronger. Wheeler is having an eye problem, and the doctor diagnosed him as being blind by a right eye. The three other surviving quints had decided to go home later this month, but Wheeler needs to stay at the hospital for the eye condition and decided to go home by next month.

Flashback: Maverine Meets All Blacks Legends 1985

After she went to the Vikings game in late October 1985, Maverine went to Argentina to visit All Blacks players from New Zealand for the 25th anniversary game. There are 29 players attended, but the 30th, Roger Urbahn passed away in November 1984. The oldest is Denis Young and the youngest is Tony Davies. Mick Bremner is now alive at 93 with six others surviving as of Ralph Caulton's death.
